they look cute! Walmart and target here also sells similar ones that are kinda like American girl. but they feel pretty plasticy and the hair is very bad quality it gets tangled up and hard to brush, my little cousin got one for her birthday and less in 3 days the doll's hair was looking horrible. but I think if you take care of them then maybe no problem would happen. ☺

Hi there, I'm in Toronto Canada and I have most of these Newberry dolls in my collection (really for my daughter who's still a toddler lol!). The NB dolls that cost more 39.99 and up have better tightly rooted hair and thicker hair overall. Other than that all the NB dolls are very well made I find them a lot prettier than the AG dolls and I have 3 of them. The NB dolls eyes also don't blink but that doesn't bother me bc their eyes are just so pretty with big lashes! Of all the NB's I have, Raine & Avery are my faves! they are really stunning! Pictures don't do any justice and their hair is just so thick and fab! and I find it very easy to care and maintain their hair. I also have MLA dolls from Walmart and Our Generation from Mastermind. The NB's and OG's have better tightly rooted hair better than the My Life As but I love the bodies of the MLA over all the dolls. and the best part of the Sears NB outfits and accessories is that yes they fit the AG's and all the other dolls in my collection along with the shoes just perfectly!!! :) So far I've stayed away from buying the Journey Girls and the Maple Lea dolls.... I've actually purchased a couple of Journey girls in the past but had to return them... I find their hair is just terrible very loosely rooted with a lot of visible bald patches... that drives me crazy to no end and they are a much slimmer body so it's harder to interchange the outfits with others and as for the Maplelea dolls I just love their hair the best above all the others! but their faces creep me out and their feet are too long and slim compared to all the others so again it's hard to switch the shoes but the clothing fits just fine...

Oh my, I haven't been to a Sears store in so long! We still have Sears stores, so I might wander in and check out their toys...unless these are exclusive catalog dolls...

Boy, I can't remember the last time I was at a Sears store. But those dolls look interesting. I'll bet they're only in Canada.

That's interesting! Looks like they made a mistake in the catalogue with that doll in the yellow dress and umbrella.It says they have a soft body. Do AG dolls have soft bodies too? Very good prices.

I got Avrey and it was so hard to get because there was not match of her

They copied The journey girls 2014 holiday doll because I have the same holiday doll but it is journey girl Brand not Newberry. And journey girls are supposed to be exclusive to Toys R Us.
