Soon as i saw the living room/ kitchen i immediately was thinking of tearing that wall in between down and giving it a nice open space. But them later you mentioned ranch style and im like oh okay i guess 😅
OH MY GOD! Did I hear correctly? New floors?! WHY? Those floors are old school original hardwood which they do not sell & tell me you’re not planning to put them in a landfill because they are worth a friken fortune! Same with those omg unpainted doors. You have antique door, door knobs, original old school hardwood floors that have character from years of being used & walked on. My last house was EXACTLY like that. These little houses aren’t even made anymore because cities won’t permit housing that generates lower tax revenue. So it’s a guarantee sell because they are affordable. My living room had original hardwood but very old floors. That wood is thick. All that was needed was sanded for smoothness, restrained although that wasn’t really needed & a couple coats of varnish still good after 18 years. The floors however needed extra support cross beams & were never insulated, so had to do that as well.

Recessed lighting for all of the rooms would make it seem A LOT bigger! A/C should be immaculate for such a small space so ceiling fans kinda feel dinky here.
