HELLO! Welcome to DIY Designer Duo Channel, we are all about HOME RENO, FEARLESS DIY, & SAVING MONEY
My name is Amber, my husband Trey and I have been fixing up a 1980s foreclosure We searched for a house for almost 2 years and nothing seemed right... so we MADE OUR DREAM HOME with NO experience or knowledge in home renovation
We have saved over $50,000 in the process by researching, learning, and DOING THE JOBS OURSELVES!
NOW that we are getting close to completion we finally have the time to SHARE EVERYTHING! We want to HELP YOU gain the knowledge, courage, and confidence to know YOU CAN DO IT TOO!
SUBSCRIBE to our channel for step by steps and how-to videos and to watch our house transform over time
Our house was built in 1961, and the kitchen was still in that era when we purchased it. However, regardless if the ugly, it was large, it had a great layout, and we saw the beauty in it once we would reno it. Now I have a large, lovely, updated kitchen!
Hi, on the wall did you use DRYLOK PRO (Basement & Masonry Waterproofer)? And on the floor did you use DRYLOK Floor & Wall? Very nice work and do you know how it’s holding up? Thank you.
This looks amazing! I would love to see a cost breakdown. I’m struggling to know what to splurge on and what to save to stay in a budget friendly Reno. Thanks for sharing!
For everyone commenting that these couches are overpriced I agree a little bit but they are a quality couch. I have sat on them and you can just feel that its high quality. You can either buy a cheap couch every few years or buy a quality couch that will last 3 times as long. I honestly see no difference. You get what you pay for. I bought a couch for 2k a few years ago and here i am looking at quality couches now..If i would of just bought quality in the first place i would of saved money. Everything is overpriced right now unfortunately but im a firm believer in you get what you pay for. These couches are also extremely easy to move so you're paying for that also.
Thanks for this detailed review. I'd love for you to do a follow-up video on how it's holding up. Are the cushions going flat? Is the material for the covers durable and still looking nice? And I'd love to see different configurations. I'm thinking about getting one of the bigger size ones like you did, and those things would help me decide.
Covering water damage with cosmetic fix, definitely a house flipper. Wonder what other water damage is disguised in that house rather than fixed. For them it’s a business to squeeze every dime out for the buyer its the money pit that will drain away their life savings and expose them to mold.😢
