this goog move i think tn is the last state to have private player for running state transport.even kerala had did that...public transport was created when there is no proper private player in market and we r in russia policy influence .but now using private player for running government bus is very apt time ..bus cleanises will increase ,losses will get reduced .good move

Local bus transport union leaders and members are in depot ..first enemy of Public transport development.They are all not accept new changes. They spoiled d good volvo ac buses. Even govt think to create development and new comers in the transport..old union members put big barrier

Volvo was introduced by dmk during semmozhi maanadu and subsequent admk govt didn’t procure a single volvo and old ones were on roads till they were scrapped. What we need is PPP like BMTC. Driver/conductor are govt employees while maintenance done by private. Don’t jump into conclusion that unions are always the issue . Need to have balance in everything
