Paul I like you but you talk shit most of the time. You want a brand you aren't familiar with so you can learn the buttons? So a week later it would be exactly the same as a car you're used to
Talon276 Ive driven plenty of 1 series even had one as a company car. The worst car I have ever had the miss fortune of driving. Absolute junk. The A3 was much nicer but neither compare to the Focus for driving fun.
***** I have and furthermore I used to work for a car dealership. And trust me 80% of A45 AMG customers don't even know how many cylinders it has, a lot of them are 18-25 year olds sponsored by their parents (especially in case of CLA45 AMG). Its a great car, but honestly the interior is actually outdated and the car generally is starting to show its age.
+Zac Richards didn't you watch the video stupid idiot? And RAFA RAFA is right in a big city like london it's hard to justify one car. And a big city is really bad for the engine if you had a little bit of knowledge about cars. The engine doesn't even get warm till you reach your destination and then it's shut down again, not to speak of all the traffic lights every 50meters...
Paul, it sounds like there is an issue with your microphone on the new GoPro camera. It switches between stereo and mono sound from time to time. Any idea on what the cause of that is?
I daily an s3 sedan pre-facelift. I would definitely recommend this car as a daily. I put on an AWE catback and APR stage 1 and the s3 turned from a normal commuter into a beautiful daily/performance car. Even with the tune the gas mileage is great, the looks are amazing, and the performance is out of this world. I only wish that it has more space, but coming from an a1, you shouldn't mind it :) best of luck trying to find the perfect daily!
if you dont mind the automatic gearboxes... get a renault clio rs trophy.... the refreshed one looks sick... or wait for the rs16... with the clio you get a great daily... 220hp is more than enough.. the consumption is minor due to the smaller engine...
can some one please tell me what the point of the Audi s cars are!! for example the s4. I mean you have the rs line which is much better!!!!!!! like a rs4. can someone just tell me the differences and what's the point of them
The S cars are a middle ground between regular Audis and hardcore RS models. Not everybody wants the harsher ride and aggressive styling of the RS cars, and they are far more expensive. I personally prefer the look of the S3 to the RS3 since the RS is sportback only and I like the 3 door look - its styling is more subtle too which I also prefer.
Consider an M140i? That's what I went for after Audi told me the new RS3 isn't available to order for a good 6 months. Potentially more space and similar performance and maybe more fun than the S3?
***** Do you know what rebadged means ? It is a rebadged Golf R, there's no point denying it. They have the exact same chassis, the exact same drivetrain, they share many part. Yes, there are software and cosmetic tweaks, but that's it, it's still the same damn car, like BRZ vs GT86. It's not like 124 vs MX5, because the Fiat has a different engine and bodykit, or Touareg vs Bentayga, because the differences are enormous. It's a slightly different version of the same fucking car, the S3 is just the Golf R "luxury" package.
The S3 sedan is one of my dream cars I have actually driven, I was blow away by it... If you are considering one, I suggest the sedan version, looks better in my opinion :)
Great car the next one you should test drive is a Mini Cooper JCW 3 door hatchback with 231 BHP or if you want a fuel efficient diesel powered Mini then the Mini Cooper SD 5 door hatchback with an automatic gearbox is the one to test drive next?
Audi RS3 probably won't be in the UK until Q1 2018, its not due in the US until late next year and that's the launch area. They are having lots of problems with suppliers at Audi, the TT RS still isn't available to order in the UK, yet it was revealed Q1 this year :( What about a M140i?
Could you do a test of the Ford Fiesta red edition? Not as a test for your daily car but maybe for people looking for a sporty first car. Maybe even do a series where you compare what would be the best first car for a 17 year old who's just past their driving test?
My loaded 16 S3 was 52,000 CDN which works out to 30,729 GBP. O stop of that I pay 13% tax and you would have your tax. What do you guys pay for one of these loaded?
I just like the sedan, have you considerd that and for a daily that would be a great choise it's still an smaller car good if you live in a city and it has good size boot.. I think, get it with the quattro 4 wheel drive so you can have some fun in the snow or in track.
I can't believe it. I tried to buy that exact car the other day and was told it had been sold. I was gutted! You better enjoy it!!!. I collect my Navarro Blue S3 Saturday.
1:35 did he just rotated that camera 270 degrees clockwise (from the viewers perspective) instead of just 90 degrees counter-clockwise to show the steering wheel ?
Natural progression from your car is my car: the Audi S1, remapped and exhaust you're looking at more power than stock S3. More like RS3 performance! But then I feel like you're done with Audi? So my other suggestion is maybe the Civic type R?
S3 is a great car! the new virtual cockpit is great, s3's in general are very quick cars and i find very big and relaxing to drive! there isn't much out there in my opinion which offers like the s3
How about the BMW M240i? It's similar enough to the S3 in that it can be comfortable and moderately practical, but it's dynamically different and one of the only 6 cylinder/rear wheel drive cars in that segment. Give it a look!
If you're gonna get a hatchback, get the 4 door as it would be easier for passengers to get in and out of. Also the car would be longer so more legroom for the passengers sitting at the back. The Audi s3 is the perfect daily imo but you should change from Audi and go for a flamboyant daily driver such as a Mini Cooper John Cooper works like the one TGE has.
This car in one fo the best for daily drives, comfy enough luxurious enough, quattro, economical, spacious, and a really good looking car with so much enough HP
Like I said before => Try the Porsche Macan! Apart from that I would suggest that you try the Maserati Ghibli! It is rare, it has 4 seats and a big boot, it looks good and it is fast!
