The boat looks very nice however the 3 year world wide coverage is misleading. I bought this boat and within 6 months had problem with the engine. I wrote emails after emails to Jeanneau and did not receive any response. The dealer just stated that my expectations were too high it usually takes many days to fix a problem like this. That is world wide coverage.
For me, I would like to see the the steering about half way, in the middle of that area.. so you got some seating in front of the two steering wheels and seating behind it.. instead of putting them at the very very back of the boat.. I also would like to see more stuff at the nav station.. with over head plotter and some other neat gauges and radar ect.. The front shower/head is too small.. all the bedrooms are too small too tight, no room around the beds at all. over all I think its a bad design..
The wheels are at the back to have a large open cockpit. You can fit radar and chart plotter yourself or probably even spec it as an optional extra. You're not going to get bigger cabins and a decent sized saloon in a 40' yacht. You'll need to go up a size.
You are looking for a Center Cockpit sailboat with two berths master and VIP state rooms. If looking at rear cockpit designs you are looking for boats above 70 ft for back berths to be big and all boats over 60 ft if headroom is a problem
Nice boat. Seems quite odd in 2019 they are still wasting room with a “nav station”... everyone I know uses iPads and garmins. If you want to lay out a chart do so at the dining table... seems like a waste when space is at such a premium on a sub 50 foot boat
@@hv7978 What do rough seas have to do with it? I've been on rough seas without seeing land for almost a day and we only went down for sleeping, grabbing something to drink or toilet usage. All navigation was done with the chartplotter from the steering wheel. In fact, without radar +AIS on the chartplotter we would have crashed against fishing boats at night. No time to go inside, especially at night.
