Thanks for the excellent review. You mention that the couch should be plugged in when not in use as the batteries drain too quickly. What happens when it gets taken in for service and sits for a few weeks on the lot without plugging in? Draining the battery down and charging back like this will damage the batteries.
Hi Steve, They whole idea of this coach is keeping the size down. (Both length and height) To go to 380+ hp you have to go to the ISL engine which is substantially physically bigger and heavier. It simply will not fit in the smaller coach, not to mention the balance of the coach would be effected and I believe there would be issues with the front end being too light. I can get you the 450hp engine in a 37' Dutch Star if you have to have that extra power, but it just doesn't physically fit in a coach this size. Thanks for watching.

I would consider this for a downsize, but our King Aire has a 605 hp 1950 lb torque. This is 2/3 the length and 70% of the CVRW yet only has around 60% (360) of the HP and 41% (800 lb) of the torque. Sounds under powered to me. Are you guys gonna handle Newmar's new Class C?
Hi Roy, The 600hp engine skews everything. Don't get me wrong, its a great engine, but no other coach stands up to the power to weight ratios of the ISX. New Air power to weight ratio is very close to that of Dutch Star and Mountain Aire. Torque is a little less, but every customer I have sold is happy with it including guys coming down from an ISX. Most people are willing to sacrifice the ridiculous power of the ISX to get the size coach they want.
Hi Captain! Schwintek should NEVER be used on a full wall slide. Its pretty reliable with a small slide, but unfortunately, some manufacturers have tried to used it in ways it was never designed to do. Newmar full wall slides on the New Aire use the HWH system which is very reliable. Its also used by Newell and those motor homes can be upwards of $2 million bucks. Newmar has been using full wall slides for well over a decade with very good reliability.
