Thought I would chime in as well. laid back, natural and informative review on a modest vehicle. Yousuf made it interesting and engaging which isn't always easy with a vehicle that is more on the basic side of things. I look forward to more of his reviews. Nice find Auto Express!
Just rented one of these while abroad. It has the regular seats but I’ve been very impressed with the comfort. I have a Skoda superb which is very comfy and this was just as good. Apple car play was a blessing as the regular sat nav isn’t great. The 1.2 petrol felt like it had a lot more torque than I was expecting and gets up to motorway speed no problem. My parents were happy out in it. The boot space is perfect too. Great car that was never on my radar before driving one.
I have the pre-face lifted model it looks friendlier. This new version looks great also. TBH the suspension crashers over small bumps, fuel consumption is terribly high. Great review, very balanced and easy going.
So good to see an Asian man representing one of the big UK magazine channels. Asian men are massive car nuts, so it shouldn’t have taken this long for someone to break through. Nonetheless a welcome addition.
This new Citroën C3 is nice and much better than any Nissan Juke, this car will seat 4 6ft tall people the Nissan Juke has no chance in hell of doing that, I tried and is why I'd never own one and fit and finish on one is poor at best and only CVT, no thank you I'll take the one you just drove, nice review 👍
Had my brand new C3 Aircross 130 Max for 2 weeks now and although not as technically advanced as my "replaced" 2020 Renault Captur, I enjoy the ride more. Fuel consumption on a tight engine is terrible though, hope that that improves. Great review that speaks volumes about the car!
I used this as a pool car where I work for a 100ish mile return journey in mixed driving. I did wonder if Citroen had used some of it's special suspension technology as the ride was very smooth for such a small car. I think it would have been smoother if whoever had it before didn't pump the tyres up so high that the tyre pressure warning light was on! Perhaps it was to make the handling less vague. 50mpg overall driving at national speed limits where permitted.
I know what I’m about to say isn’t to do with the C3 Aircross and instead concerns the C5 Aircross, but while I think it’s impressive that Citroën offers LED headlights as standard across the facelifted C3 Aircross range, which probably isn’t what you’d expect for a B-segment SUV, I still don’t get why they’re still not offered on the C5 Aircross for right-hand-drive cars, where we still have to make do with old-fashioned halogens like on an old Toyota Corolla from the 90’s.
I’ve been thinking the exact same thing since the launch of the C5 Aircross, and thought it was a strange omission. Thankfully, this seems to have now been resolved with model year 2021 C5 Aircross models having LED headlights as standard (it looks like Citroen are phasing out halogen all together) granted these are the reflector LED kind as with this refreshed C3 Aircross and not the better projector ones in higher spec LHD cars but still, much better than before!
@@nathanbeard8767 It’s all very well and good Citroën finally offering LED headlights on RHD C5 Aircrosses, but why don’t RHD cars get the projector LED headlights that the LHD cars get like you said?
@@joshbacon8241 I can only assume it’s some sort of type approval thing specific to that car, as for example the DS7, and Peugeot 3008 both offer them and they are the same platform/architecture, I’d really like to try the reflector ones, I had reflector ones on a Leon, and they were amazing so I’m sure these are good too
Love the front and side view but the rear is awefull....plus having the heater and air con controls buried in the screen menus is dangerous, distracting and irritating....sort this out citroen like youve done in the new c4.
I rented the 2020 make and I didn't like leg space as I found it narrow compared to Citroën c3 2015. There's plenty of space between back seat and front seat if you have kids which I do
