There's no doubt in one's mind about how Hannah the Camera Lady "thought" the stopping performance would be like, compared to how effortless it is. Never seen anyone that could demonstrate the point , in such an amusing & theatrical manner. Pure GREATNESS!!!
This is the classiest video ever, for an Explorer van. Out of dozens of them. This gentleman is pure class, and feel that he must be the owner of the dealership. A presentation like this, makes the product irresistible. Perfect getaway machine for these pandemic times. They do last forever and don't eat tires & brakes. GM V-8 really perform and sound so good. BTW, I'd travel to buy a vehicle from this guy, next time around!
Still can't get over how awesome this video is. The two personalities are priceless. (The ultimate dealership owner and the COOLEST videographer) The ONLY fun conversion van video, outside of Amazing Hoovie of course. Explorer Conversion Company must be very appreciative. A whole new much-needed image. Long live Tyler Hoovie & Mr. Marquardt videos!!! (An end to boredom!!!)
I think that Mr.Marquardt & Hannah, have to do all the premium demo videos. I've sent this along to a few dozen friends, for the talent, videography and personality exhibited here, is simply refreshing. There are no others at this level. Not even close. I love Explorer vans, but the dozens of other dealer videos are "like watching paint dry". In my small business, I have customers all over the country. I will certainly mention your dealership to anyone within a couple of hundred miles of Barrington and your reviews from happy customers.
I'd be remiss, if I didn't comment that the "camera lady" is super talented at her craft. She's obviously very intelligent and understands "perspective". Best video I've seen from a technical standpoint.
I have a car collection, new & old. I can tell you, that our Explorer garners more unsolicited compliments than the other VERY sharp cars that we own. Just amazing what Explorer did with a design, that GM did right in the first place. Most especially in lighter colors with their optional "fade" finish. Our Transit-Van looks very "jarring" in comparison, and never once got a compliment. Also, nothing provides the "music" of the powerful GM V-8. BTW, search for GM/Chevy vans on any large internet site & select "highest mileage first". See how many late models come up with crazy high mileage, while advertised as fine running condition.....and STILL valuable! There's something comforting about this old design, just as with a vintage Peterbuilt or Kenworth.
I have a 2011 GMC all-wheel drive passenger van that I converted into a work van, one of the best vehicles I have ever owned, and I do my own mechanical work and aside from the couple of issues they have here and there, they are a very decent vehicle, only issue I don't like about them is the hinged side doors which always become misaligned, I searched until I found a sliding door for mine, flawless! I have the 5.3 engine with almost 150,000 miles on it and it still runs like brand new, I use it everyday for work and it's phenomenal in the snow with the all-wheel drive, unfortunately the exterior is still quite dated, it would be nice if GM would freshen that up a bit.
Had two of these! Bought the 2010 in 2012 and it was durable, reliable and comfortable of course! Decided to sell it and purchase the 2018 in 2018 and it was the biggest mistake of my car buying life! They are no longer built to last! They’ll fall apart in the heat. My siding was peeling on the outside for gods sake. Something was wrong with the engine and the tv kept going in and out! It was beautiful, BUT A HUGE LET DOWN! These vans are no longer built to last! Don’t be an idiot(like I was)by purchasing new! Any vehicle for that matter! This man is lying to you….not worth it at all
Would be great if they would upgrade the driver dash, steering wheel, push start for starters. Update the gauges as well. Put A full Panoramic Roof then I could see this being a descent option for families traveling. The gas mileage is probably horrible so updated the power train would be icing on the cake. Great Review for sure.
I own 2015 gmc savana X-SE (this is the top model with all the extra features) 9 pass conversation van, this is a amazing van a real limousine I added extra upgrades on it, like back tail light strips like the truck under tailgate and led cube since the tail light is high and reverse light is so weak and u can't see nothing when driving backwards in dark places also i add hotspot, apple tv and so much more this is our road trip van, kids(have 5) just like it, call this one "daddy van" i can't complain with all this hi tec media the ride is so quit no Yelling crying fighting, and each kids have his on spot captian chair, like 1st class on the plan, van is very quit and powerful , have alt privacy, getting alt impress /questions ppl want to see inside when we arrived to hotels, parks or gas stations special in night time when all is illuminate inside Van is little bumpy in the back I took one leaf spring out to softer rides work so far planing to add air bag ride suspension, but Explore company need to do something about this other them that this is the ultimate van on the road, yes price is high but bottom line if u can offer Get one and make your dream come true like mine get it THIS IS A PRIVET JET ON THE WHEELS
Personally, I hope it never changes, except possibly the grille and full LED lighting. I've never had a vehicle garner so much positive attention. Most always from people driving modern, compact SUV's, which is very surprising. The '24 Tesla Model-3 "Highland" may be the world's best car, but this explorer is more useful and also very rugged.
Wonder if they would convert an eight seat model to right hand driver and export to New Zealand? The v8 in all wheel drive would be nice. Failing that, the v6 all wheel drive would do. Get all the radio/stereo, gps system etc done for New Zealand (nz). Certainly would turn heads here.
I’m a single dad from California And I travel a lot out of state to visit my family &, friends. This would be perfect for me. And would save me hotel costs.!. What would the price be on this one please.!. 😇🙏🏽👍
When King Arthur returns I don't think he will be considering this van to transport his 12 knightsaround because it only carries 12 so he'd have to leave somebody behind. Same for Christ. They'd both have to go stock Chevy passenger van which is a good thing because then they all get to sit closer together the way it should be.
The music is way too loud. Please just allow the van to sell itself. Don't play that cheesy Loud Music. Explain the features of the product, and allow the product to sell itself!!
Hello, I am from Belgium, I have a few questions. First, what is the price of this van? Is the number of seats custom? Because I am considering 8 + 1. Can a gas or diesel engine be ordered? Thanks
Thank you for your comment :) >Price- starts in the lower 80k depending on what features you add or subtract from the van. >Yes, you can order a custom amount of seats. We have vans that can vary from 6 passengers to 12 passengers and everything in-between. >yes these options are available: v6 or v8 for gas and diesel is more common in slightly older models.
When will GM make an actual high roof van?? They are waaaayy behind Sprinter, Transit, Promaster. They could have a huge share of the high roof van market. Like what are they waiting on?? The Express has had a great 20 year run, but its time for another 20 year run with a high roof. They dont need to jump into all electric either, just keep the bulletproof V8's and transmission combos, b ut need a higher roof and a new look.
Those are completely garbage vans ! That’s why I just bought a brand new GMC Savana with the 6.6l. 1 ton vans are built for Commercial use. Heavy duty. 300 thousand miles easy . .
Love it just the way it is. Find the biggest used van site & ask for "highest mileage first". You'll be in shock at how these hold up. Also, the sound of the GM V-8 is so soothing & last forever.
Seinfeld reference! (It’s in an episode where Kramer asks Seinfeld how many mpg his conversion van gets. Seinfeld says, “two” Kramer, “City or Highway?”)
I live in Bolivia but moving to spain/Europe. I need to know Total height al total empty weight, do to spanish derive lucense type "B" and garaje Doors Thanks
I hope these vans have a full size spare tire , I never understood a tire inflater! That does me absolutely no good while on the side of the road with a gash/flat on a sidewall.
They do have a full-size spare that you'd never want to change, while on the road. It is so damn easy to plug a tire, if one has compressor, as this does. I've done this dozens of times, over the past half century. Always carry at least two plug kits. We have a friend that all four tires got stabbed. 3-4 plugs in each, did the job, until he got new tires a month later, as it was known that the criminals would come back a day or two later, to collect their new tires & rims. Not kidding. Anyway, never change a wheel on a big vehicle, while traveling. With a kit, you'll limit you and your passengers, from exposure to danger.
@@williamlegall2988 yes i understand plugs i use them all the time also but a sidewall gash on a tire needs to be changed regardless, and you better hope you have a real spare tire.just saying
The general motor uses some seats that are quite uncomfortable but really uncomfortable, they break backs in most of their vehicles, maybe they are more or less reliable but they are not the best on the market, although of course there are millions of jikerones who love them
