NEW (2022) How To Install Mods in Marvel's Spider-Man PC - Full TUTORIAL

How To Install PC Mods for Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered PC, this is what everyone has been asking me, so here we go, I've decided to make a full tutorial on how to download mods and install them into Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered for PC. Right now there are hundreds of mods available, including The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Suit, No Way Home Ending Suit, Sam Raimi Black Suit and so many more out there, I plan on doing a top 5 best suit mods for Marvels Spider-Man PC too very shortly.

The dream is being able to mod in almost anything without replacing existing things so we can get things like new suits, suit powers etc added along with the ones already in the game. I hope that'll be possible in the somewhat near future.

@@wlb277 Yes, modders released a tool last week that accomplishes that. It's still being updated, but new suit slots are now being added.

Delete toc.bak, if that doesn't work just straight up select toc instead of asset archive

Ok so when you go to the archive folder scroll to the bottom and there should be a file called toc click on it and it will ask to replace it say yes

@@Not_yu1so I have the same problem and I tried this. It came up a thing that said “toc.BAK already exists. Do you want to replace it?” So I pressed yes but it still says “table of contents file is missing!”

For some reason not a single mod shows up in the mods folder. The mods are in there and not the right filetype but the SMPCtool does not recognize them

The PC modding tool defaults to looking into the mod folder located in the asset_archive folder. So you can either 1. "browse game files" again and locate the mod folder in the asset_archive folder and paste your mods in there. Or 2. You can navigate inside the modding tool's mod manager to the folder where you put your mods in to begin with. Which if you followed the video, would be located in a folder on your desktop. The video was kind of misleading here as well. It did not mention that the modding tool defaults to looking inside the 'mods' folder inside the asset_archive. But there you go. If you follow the steps above, you should see the mods.

Dude, thanks to you I finally got to experience this game with the TASM2 suit. Insomniac should have put this suit when it was announced that they were gonna put three additional suits within the game. I barely touched the suit switching menu when I installed it.

Insomniac is saving The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and No Way Home Final Swing suits for Spider-Man 2 next year. They want the suits to be implemented into a much better game.

I did every step you asked me to but once I try to start the game, the options are “LAUNCHER_PLAY, LAUNCHER_OPTIONS, and LAUNCHER_QUIT. Once I click “LAUNCHER_PLAY”, the screen just goes to black. I haven’t been able to fix this problem for weeks now. Please help me 🙏🏼

Hey, if you're getting the TOC (table of contents error) just go through the copy paste archive thing manually.

so i got a problem. this might just be because this video is outdated but when i try to open the SMPC tool it gives me the alert that it is already running even though it is not. problem number 2 is that when i click manage on spider man remastered (It's epic games launcher and not STEAM.) it doesn't have the option of local files. Is there any way to fix this?

Anyone know why it says my table of contents is missing? I keep trying to set up the asset archive folder and whenever i copy and paste it in its successful but ends up saying the tabe of contents is missing. Edit: I figured it out. Idk why but uninstalling the game and reinstalling it did it. Thank you so much mate, i wish you could see my face on how happy I am that you taught me how to do this. @@kadenkimmer8821 i did, theres 2 types of files you can get "SUIT" files and "SMPC" files. the only mods you can add to the mod manager is the smpc files if it says suit you have to use the suit adding mod by dragging and dropping the suit files onto the suit adding application. this might be a little confusing so if you need any clarification just send me another reply

so for some reason, i started the game a couple of days ago with all of my normal mods installed, but i noticed the start page was different, instead everything said "LAUNCHER_PLAY" instead of the normal play and everything in that menu started with "LAUNCHER_" and than whatever it is, and the game just wont start when press launcher play, i uninstalled the game and it started working normally until i tried adding the normal mods ive had since i bought the game back to my game, than it just stopped working again. I dont know whats causing this, everything has been normal up until a couple of days ago and i have no clue what to do. Is anyone else dealing with this or know how to fix this???

You have to replace the toc.bak file in your asset_archives folder then just reinstall your mods and it should work

If it’s a .suit file then you cannot add it to the mods folder and it will not show up in the modding tool. If it’s a SCMP file then your fine it should show up, if not then you probably just have outdated versions.

just wondering if anyone knows the problem that you get when installing mods, you get the launcher having text on all options like "Launcher_Start" "Launcher_Options" and the game doesn't work. If so, can anyone tell the fix?

I haven't seen that before, maybe replace the toc.bak file in your asset_archives folder
