I don’t really like Merc’s new design language, but I gotta say: no other manufacturer comes close to Merc’s ambient lighting and screen technology. What a STUNNER.
Can you imagine the response if you could take this back to the sixties/seventies , it would blow their minds apart. It’s an unbelievable piece of technology, combining stunning artistic design with shear unearthly shattering performance. Its devastatingly beautiful. Well Mercedes, you are so on the future pulse of engineering but I hope that the few individuals that can afford one, have their own petrol reserve. 👏
@@joshooahh Newer cars have to meet stricter regulations in terms of how loud they are and the way they sound eg soft limiters, particulate filters etc…..
LOL what??????? Sound is a joke! I was sitting in that SL63 and 5 sec after I started the engine I was out of the car! With open flaps it is not even that loud as my 2016 C63S Coupe with closed flaps! Comparing to my G63 2017 with Brabus Exhaust I do not need at all...
My dad has the previous Gen SL63 AMG and it’s just an awesome cruiser. So much fun to drive and ride in. I’m always stoked when he lets me drive it. I thought I wouldn’t like it being a soft top now but I think it suits the car well, That interior is just absolutely wonderfully done. I know some don’t like the LED lights but I love them and if you adjust them to a softer tone instead of color it’s much less intimidating . My dad also recently got the New 2022 GLE AMG in an awesome Grey and it’s one of the most comfortable SUVs I’ve ever been in. It’s so smooth and well insulated that it’s nearly silent.
@puhahaha77 Also, incorrect, any engine and or aerodynamic properties Mercedes has tuned by their in house tuning department is an AMG vehicle. Never has AMG been defined to only V8s. The Pagani Huayra Supercars uses AMG tuned twin turbo V12s and Mercedes has also used the AMG brand to Define both their performance and higher end versions of their vehicles with Maybach serving as their ultra luxury devison which normaly only has one Mercedes star logo with the rest being MM logos…
@puhahaha77 Me Personally? No, my dad owns the previous Gen SL63 AMG and yes it's paid off if that's what you're asking, and he leases The GLE AMG SUV and just gets whatever the newest one is at the end of the lease, as he doesn't drive the GLE often since he recently retired and sold his company and built a vacation home in Naples Florida where he spends the Fall, Winter and Spring at which is where he keeps and drives the SL and Keeps the GLE here in PA and drives that during the Summer and when he periodically is flying back to PA, in the Philly Suburbs. He also owns a nice Resto Mod 1950s Porsche convertible that he keeps here in PA. Im in my mid 20s so although I would love to Own a nice Merc one day, I currently work as an Aerospace engineer and Drive a 2022 Subaru Forester. I thought I was pretty clear that I was describing my dad's vehicles in my initial comment when I was describing how fun it is to drive them, specifically when I visit him at his place in Florida or occasionally let's me come by and drive his GLE when he's not at his place here in PA and is also why I also described how nice it is to ride in them as well.
Awesome video! I'm so excited for the newest addition to the SL legacy. I just recently acquired my first SL, a 2019 450. And I am hooked! I'm not sure that I personally need all the horsepower that the AMG offers. But, it would be awesome to rent one for a weekend. 😎
Those 15 minutes went by like it was a 2 min video for how fascinating it was for me while watching it, it got my whole attention during the whole thing. Great car!
Great production and content. Unforunately, as I have said many times, Mercedes has focused too much on superfluous technology that doesn't enhance the driving experience. The whole design budget is put towards semi-autonomous driving, lighting package, mmi, and tech features. The pre 2018 models were far more focused on driving experience especially if you're paying AMG pricing.
at this point, be grateful that they still offer powerful, great sounding V8s, while offering great driver technology. Sure, the Turbo S 911 exists, but at the end of the day it sounds like a vacuum cleaner haha.
Very good content and a beautiful automobile. The exhaust notes are pure music to my ears. But no soft-closing doors? A shocker that's an option and not standard.
I still come back to this video every so often because of how well it's made. That's despite having a matte black with red interior SL63 parked in the driveway!
MercBenzKing does the best Mercedes reviews on RU-vid. I watch alot of reviewers, but something special about Merc reviews. I feel like I got to have it after his views whether it day or definitely night reviews. Benz interior ambient lighting... no words smhh😄
Absolute beast of a car with stunning design inside and outside, I am not a fan of soft top but it looks good black on black... Can't wait for CLE model hope it will have similar front shape to SL...
I am new to cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, but I am very interested and curious to start investing in it, although I do feel this is kind of late now. Can anyone tell me what I need to do?
Investing in Bitcoin is the number one thing one should be doing right now, although there are lots of risks the best way to invest is through cryptocurrency and Forex.
besides the 18 min. commercials, great video, had 2 SL's, loved them. I just went back to BMW for the I drive for N.E. driving conditions but now that the SL63 has AWD I wont have to settle on a Bimmer for road condition security
woow! looks really nice with the carbon inside, we made a riview with light blue interior on it but i think we should also have went for the carbon, nice spec and nice review!!
