love the design, although for the laptop i think the vivobook is a better value with the sleek design and faster processors for the same price as the base models
what i don't get about the studio is why they don't put a proper 12th gen 45W i7 or i9 in there. the 3060 was cool but it would be nice to see something that's actually powerful.
@@vintage0x Without a redesign of the base they probably will have problems dissipating the heat from a 12th gen and 3060 combo. I would have preferred a 12th gen chip with a lower TDP graphics processor in the same chassis personally. What I really want is a solo studio monitor.
I am a team apple but I love how Microsoft is not scared to have people see the inside of their products…. Unlike apple which is so anxious about people seeing what’s inside their devices….
The new surface line has some really cool features. Good job on communicating them. I have been a long time user, but I already ordered the iPP M2. It will be here tomorrow! I may end up with both...
for a 10th anniversary I expected a little more ngl. But overall many details being improved. Are the new surface products actually more repairable now? Interested in the Surface Laptop 5 but only if I could change battery, ssd, ram, keyboard and screen.
Not an expert but I think it’s gotten worse. I had a surface pro 6 (it broke no one would repair it lol) and it had a now removed microsd card slot and they removed the headphone jack. The SSDs are soldered on and screen you certainly can’t repair
To be honest Microsoft has way better design language than Apple and better software the only thing Microsoft needs something to replace the iPhone like they used to have but I don't think it's possible now
The M1 is way ahead in terms of speed but I really like Surface devices, so I am hopeful that the new Surface Pro 9 with 5G provides acceptable performance for that price point.

I always buy the Lenovo Carbon X1 line and get new laptops for the office every 3 years. This has me thinking of moving over to the Surface Pro 9 in October when we are due to upgrade.
I bought Microsoft surface laptop studio last year and one day it just stop turning on, since I was on warranty still, i sent it to the microsoft support center and they just told me it wasn’t covered due to scratches (i only had 1 like super small under and in no important place) So now i lost +2k dollars after 4 months use :)
I am going from Apple to Windows. I have been an Apple user since my first Apple MP3 player. Crazy right? The past couple years, Apple has been failing at making new products that seem very new. All they care about is the design and not care about how it runs and protects your devices. I recently got a PC Desktop and I have been absolutely loving it. So much easier to use, your files are safe, you can still of course use google which is the main software everyone uses, so it saves photos and files... I am just excited to be done with Apple laptops and iPads.
I am a Mac user that is finding the Windows exosystem increasingly more interesting . . . Microsoft has put more interest and attention to things like form factor, design, textures, and simplicity - all of which - are kind of what attracted me to Mac in the first place. Mac is still a fun world to play in - but - i am starting to worry a bit about their corporate level of arrogance and proprietorial tendancies. I am actually not distrurbed about their pricing levels - however - with all of our cyber world experiences moving more towards a dependency on cloud computing the browser, which can be accessed from any platform, is increasinglu gaining importance over the ecosystem. So, solid browsing is actually narrowing the gap between ecosystems as their overall effeciencies narrow.
Use automatic subtitles Captions are a great way to make content accessible to visitors. RU-vid may use speech recognition technology to automatically create subtitles for videos
