I have a r/t and I have every thing the citadel has just looks way more mean

I have the 2020 citadel fully loaded with all the options and the Hemi. Back in early 2022 when cars were hard to get I bought it with 5,468 miles on it and bought it for the same amount my brothers brand new 2022 Durango SXT with a V6 AND LESS than 100 miles (brand new). We bought them 2 weeks apart and I’m still smiling over getting it. Both of us have to pull trailers for our work. My brother want to conserve gas mileage and I wanted a HEMI 😈. My wife and I went on a vacation recently to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge Tennessee area and stayed at an airbnb during January that sat by itself on top of a mountain……. Scared to death driving on such an incline on a one way road and turns that are more like a V all at crazy vertical straight up. It did say that they HIGHLY RECOMENDED A 4x4 to climb their mountain 🧗. I’m truly glad and thankful for that Hemi power at that moment…..moments since we ran around and left the airbnb a lot. You font know you need more power until you do!

Great review..I was looking at getting a RT or up never thought of a Citadel but looked at one today that is similar but I'd get the performance hood with the 5.7L v8

I should have done a review on my Dodge GT Plus 2020 before I traded it in for a Dodge Durango Citadel 2023. I watched so many videos. Not very many have a loaded Citadel V8. So just off this video I went with the Citadel V8 instead of the RT. I was close to getting the RT. They had an Orange edition RT for like 47. I bought my Citadel with 6500 miles for 49300. Probably over paid a bit but it was super hard to find. I found it 120 miles away in a small town. Ive only had it for 8 days. I haven't got to use all the features. I do have the Kardon 19 speaker system. Its nice compared to most stock systems. But its not up to par for my taste. The first place I went to after I got it was to the stereo place. Ill be replacing the speakers. But It definitely noticeably faster than my V6 durango. Even if its not the SRT I still can feel the power. I also could have got a 2023 orange edition for 48k. I was going to drive to take a look at a SRT used but I read you shouldn't drive them daily. Ill be putting nothing but premium in my car since they recommend it. I will say the 10 inch screen is beautiful. I love how it has android auto connects right away. And my seats arent red. But they are grew two toned. Citadels with V8 aren't easy to find. This is a really good review I can watch this a thousand times over.

Good video I love my 2018 Durango G.T which I payed way to much for it. I always wanted to know what’s the difference between all the different Durangos.

Great video! Personally, I'm more of the R/T sporty hood kinda guy. Citadel is nice, but it's not aggressive looking enough to me vs the R/T.

The R/T has a stiffer suspension and sits almost an inch lower

Good video....I own 2021 RT Reactor Blue, love it. Very sorry to see the Durangos go away.....Yeah Yeah yeah, every car review says the "platform is ancient"--Who Cares?? The updates over the years did great job, I am very very happy I bought one! We see what happens in the future if they replace it or not, Cheers!

Not all CITADELcome in all-wheel-drive I have a 2023 citadel.

I just got an R/T with the Blacktop & HEMI Orange package, I love it! Had two “luxury” 300C’s I went for the sporty aggressive look!

Own a citadel v8 love it most luxurious vehicle ive owned.

OK gonna throw this in here.. the "bar" behind the second row seats is not to support the seats, it is a cargo cover and when I had a Grand Cherokee, I would just place the cover where the seats fold

My 21 citadel has 19 speaker surround sound and built in sub and 2 monitors with blu-ray player and 2 hdmi ports to plug in roku and I play my ps5 in the back..lol ..oh and the unconnect has wifi and hot spot

the only difference between the two, is the taillights...the sunroof, speakers, and interior you can get on trim level...its just a option package 🤦🏾

Engine cover - keeps your engine bay cleaner and more simple look than seeing all the hoses, belts, pulleys and parts. Also easier to keep clean. Wipe it off and good to go

Just wondering if the Citadel come with a blacktop package? I've seen the v8 Citadel is not the same as an RT v8 as the Citadels more tame

My 2022 Durango r/t is the luxurious one so it comes like the other one how nice inside is and sunroof captain seats leather and suede seats redline 2 coat pearl looks better than both the cars showed tbh
