NGL, The C4 looks blown out, Which is the case with the G4 as well but the G4 looks pinkish in all their units. C3 in this video looks more natural so you made the right choice and for the extra money for the C4, Its not worth it

Got myself a 55" C3 and it is amzing for both HDR movie streaming and HDR gaming from the PC. It is a beast! Very pleased. Hooked it to a Logitech Z906 5.1 system via optical and it is smashing pumpkins. :D

I just pulled the trigger on a C3 about 3 weeks ago. I decided to come up off my LG C1. Because I knew it was very dim I knew that it wasn't that bright and I knew accuracy was pretty well off and I got it as close as I could. But seeing the LG C3 for 1500 at 65 in and coming to find out that LG is going to upgrade their OS on 2023 Tvs and Newer for 5-year I was Sold.. I can tell you coming from an LG C1 going to an LG C3 the difference has been absolutely remarkable. Going back rewatching things replaying offline story-driven games the color and the brightness together and the clarity and the high contrast has just made a huge viewing experience difference.. I think the C3 is the perfect balance of brightness color and Clarity and contrast. You start getting too bright you have to push better color and the panel technology is limited when it comes to brightness and color volume. People that still talk about burn-in are the same people that still probably believe Santa Claus exist the Tooth Fairy brings you money in the government has your back

@no_misaki LMFAO.. Why are you people so insistent on being stuck in the past. I have had an OLED since 2020 and don't even have an iota of screen retention let alone actual burn in. (By the way you start getting screen retention before you get Burn-in..) Not even Rtings including Burn-in Risk anymore with OLED Reviews.. So do yourself a favor get Samsung out of your head because now even Samsung is doing OLED. I know all the burn-in propaganda that you are talking about was pedaled by Samsung and now THEY do OLEDs... YES there USED to be a problem with burn-in. "USE" TO BE You have TO ACTUALLY try to get Burn-in on today's OLED TVs for a LONG LONG LONG time. So that should tell you people are not worried about burn-in today because it's not something to worry about.. You are robbing yourself if this "Burn-in" deal is what is stopping you from OLED...

Evolution rather than revolution as expected. I just upgraded my 55C9 to the 77C3 for a terrific price. I actually preferred the old menu and settings layout, it's harder to find some options (though it's generally only needed to change some options once). I had to turn the brightness down on the new C3. Very happy with it, C4 differences don't justify the price difference for me.

I'm looking to upgrade this year from my 2017 Sony 4k 42' TV with HDMI 1.4 ports. I'm considering the Sony A90K because Google OS is really good. Samsungs' Tizen OS is full of security privacy flaws. I'll consider LG too. A90K has Sony's best TV processor (XR) but the brightness suffers, not quite a fan of the stand, and only 2 of the HDMI ports are 2.1 and doesn't support 1440p. A90K is NZ$2,499, LG C4 is NZ$2,999, and C3 is NZ$2,299. I have a custom desktop PC (i7 14700k, RTX 4080). The rear of the LG TV's look cleaner/sleeker than the rear of the A90K 42'. Will wait for sales periods later this year.

My 3 year old 65CX died recently, I changed the thermal paste on the cpu and it works perfectly again. I'm a bit hesitant on LG build quality now, but tempted by the C3 77.

NOT worth the upgrade to to C4 from the C3. My 65" C3 I bought for $1,500 is AMAZZ-ZZ-ing. Just turn the brightness up to 90-100% and you will be blown away at the picture quality. Get the G4 if you really want the best TV on the planet.

65" is a great size. Have an older B7 55", that still looks good. no burn in, but the colors look a bit washed out, absolutely still usable and I doubt any non tech person would notice what I am noticing, they would just say wow thats an amazing looking tv or not notice it at all. My 2nd OLED was a C9 65" and it still looks amazing and bright, no burn in, has about 6k hours. I like that LG lets you check easily how many hours you used. Good luck with your new C3. The newer C2/3/4 are so much lighter, which I love, no one wants a heavy TV.

I watch a lot of RU-vid podcasts, and unfortunately, they always leave their branding on the screen the whole show. I would say youtube and those podcasts take up about 50% of my viewing experience. I worry about that with oled because of my habits. Am I at risk with these newer models? Is it still a concern even with the new technology they put in it to avoid burn in?

Had a 83" C2, the C3 blew the C2 out of the water. And I needed to upgrade after 6 months of owning the C2 83". Then comes the KING, the C4, wow, pure perfection (on lease until the C5 arrives, if that ever happens). I have gotten rid of my 3 C3's, I had a 65, 77, and the "Big boy" 83" Have all new C4 panel's and couldn't be happier. HDR, perfect black levels, 120hz, Dolby Vision and Atmos, DTS, Evo, OLED pixel dimming, etc. the C4 is the new king!

I have found your channel really helpfull thank you. Question that Im sure you have heard many times. I currently have a 7 yr old LG 65' 4K tv, with a 20 yr old panasonic 5.1 surround system which has always and to me still does sound great for films and gaming in a 17' x 12' lounge. I am looking at replacing with an LG G4 77" oled wall mounted and LG are currently offering a free matching slimline soundbar and sub if buying direct from them. Would this sound as good as my current system if I could hook it to some rear speakers, or do you think there would be a noticable difference? Current front speakers are slim line high floor mounted spaced each corner so I get a nice wide spread of sound important for fps gaming. Am a bit concerend that 1 sound bar will lose that spread but also very much aware that tech has moved on so much that it could be better?

You won't miss the brightness. I have a C3-83" set in a large room with plenty of diffused daylight, so I'd rate it as moderately high brightness. Regardless, C3 looks excellent in SDR, HDR, etc. My previous TV was the Sony X90L 85", and I do not miss it at all, and that is a very good set. I was initially worried I'd miss it due to the decreased brightness, but that's not the case. Get the C3 at the lower prices while you still can!

The problem with the C4 right now, is the value for money, it has little going for it atm. You'd almost be better off going for new G4, G3 or C3. Even with a Samsung you would get better value. When prices drop this will change of course.

@@zack.123. i had a deal for the 77 inch C4 for $ 2.000 including taxes and shipping. About the same price as the 77 S90C

The hardware is different in the C3 and C4... hence they need time to tailor webOS 24 to the C3, so it'll be released 2025. For a tech reviewer, you don't seem to have much of an appreciation for tech. I'm guessing you just consume tech, rather than develop or design it?
