here i am my brother is more into C class ( great cars ) and most into s class ( w223 ) BUT i always loved the E class ( I have had W124 W210 ) and C 202 and now W203 c class. As well as a W208. but i always loved my E class. my Old silver W211 e240 has 440.000 kms on it. and I had to spent 4 times what i spent to get it. now the gear box blew on it as well as paint JUST started to go ( its silver ) How ever. I am looking to get a new gearbox ( or if i can rebuild it ) I should get another W211 ( or W212 ) BUT no. I think the E class is worth saveing as for W214 yes i also agree. I will go for the i6. even if the inline 4 is still awesome. And i will also go for exclusive version in blue with brown or tan seats. ( or just like this video ) even if i do like the sport. I like the exclusive version a TAD more :) i also think the side profile looks a BIT like the CLS Only not as much. i guess it should seeling that the CLS was based on w211 :) anyway have awesome day :)
@@The_Eminencethe E class is mid generation tech Mercedes-Benz, with the hyperscreen and the star posterior light for sure it look better than the s class w223 with non yet the hyperscreen! I love the s class waiting for the w224 i'm so curious!
The POVs now feels so much better, i like how steady the view is and the overall crisp and vibrance of these videos ! Appreciate you giving us Top quality content
Most C-class, E-class and S-class buyers don't care about handling as much as they care about the luxurious interior. These cars make you look and feel RICH.
But still a Benz is a Benz,it wouldn’t beat a Bentley or Rolls Royce in terms of luxury, even the Maybach version is just a trim level instead of an actual brand like the other two brands
I love both the interior and exterior of this car. I’m not a fan of a 4-cylinder + plug in hybrid engine, though - particularly for a car like this. I’ll be ordering the 450e 4Matic when it becomes available in the US. I only hope that the exclusive version will be available in North America - to me, it’s a nicer look than the sport version.
I totally agree about the Exclusive version looks the best. I just don't understand why they are not expected to be available in the US market and it is a shame. Evidently the sale numbers aren't good in the US - at least the former Luxury models with the Star. But I think they should try again.
@@mohamedelmahdi8834 My point exactly. The video/article should state that the car is not coming to the USA. If it's not coming to the USA then don't advertise it in the USA. Very misleading.
Mercedes are pros at engine encapsulation. When the first generation 190e for the US market was developed, the diesel engine was encapsulated to where it could not be heard from within the cabin.
what to say. its a E class. They can not mess it up. ( other then W210 ) even then the W210 was good if you did not let it rust. I have W203 W211 w208. and have had W202 124 and W210 :) W214 is hands down lovely. Shame no V8 but still what a ripper.
#1 The German "Same sausage, different length" strategy is brilliant. You now can have an A-class, C, class, E-class or EV/ suv with enough interior opulence that YOU DON'T NEED THE S-CLASS!!! #2 This car is going to sell. It's predestined to sell. The E-class is one of Mercedes top sellers of all time. #3 I would rather take the e-class over the EQE or EQE SUV. I love the car's shape. I just wish the EQE had kept the E-class' shape and just been an EV. I'm not excited to have a car shaped like a jellybean.
I wish the EQ models would love more like these - they would be so much better selling tbh. Totally agree, I really like the Design - super traditional and still unique
I've got a 2018 E350e and it feels very heavy in the bends, even at quite low speeds and it seems as though this latest one is the same. I don't mind the four cylinder engine note at all in mine. It sounds really quite good I think when you rev it, as in this latest one. I certainly don't see why you would need to get the six cylinder version, as most of the time you are going to be in electric mode anyway (if you are using this PHEV properly) especially in town, so why bother spending more. It will be even heavier as well. Plus you are rarely going to drive like in this test anyway. PHEV's are not meant to be driven in this way. If you want a fun drive and a six cylinder sound just get the non PHEV version. It will be a far better handling car. One thing I don't understand about this 2024 version is why there is a two second delay with the throttle. My 2018 model doesn't have this delay at all. Pick up is almost instant. If I was in the market for the new E class I would just get the base petrol version. For 99% of the time in the real world this is all you need.
The dashboard screens looks great & modern but the steering wheel looks more geared towards the older generation. I prefer the new double spokes steering wheel. Also, with all that screen real estate, where will the carbon fiber trim sit?! I hope the new AMG E class’s do things a bit different.
every e-class ive owned had this lag on acceleration. not that is very important for a confort-intended car, but sometimes u need just that quick response to happen
Any word on whether the 2024 AMG E 53 2 door Coupe will be released in the USA? I'm seeing some stuff that indicates the new CLE will replace the AMG E 53 2 door coupe in the USA.
I am a BMW driver and owner. This new E is so beautiful inside and out. The new 5 Series is ugly as sin and the interior looks cheap. I guess I will be going either to Mercedes or Audi for my next sedan!
e300e being a 4cyl I can get, but the e400e being a 4cyl is just smol. Hopefully the AMG keeps the v8 biturbo hybrid tech like the M5 will, or this will be a disappointing lineup
The interior door handles with the window switches on should be the same as the Centre wooden piece. That fact that it doesn't match the Centre is so annoying. Silver door rest, wood Centre panel and gloss black parts where the seat controls are. I wish they had an option to make the trims match. It's too many different pieces.
@@mr.benz I was sad that the trim in the doors doesn't match the Centre console like the previous model or the S Class. I think it's cost saving since all models will have the same door panel trim regardless of the Centre trim.
Awful! I have the W213 in that beige trim and I will stick with it! All the displays suffer from reflection, the old model had upright screens with a cowling over them for a reason. The vid is not shot on the brightest of days and you cannot see a lot of the screens. While driving you will want to put on demisters, adjust temperatures, work the airconditioning, I can see no way of doing this with the one-touch traditional row of controls on the old model but on this how many buttons and options do you press while driving? The black shiny plastic looks cheap. Give it 6 months and there will be Kias and MGs with the same screen doing the same thing. The car does not look distictly classy anymore, it is just relying on the badge.
Not a big fan of 4 cyl, incl. bad sound. 6 cyl. Petrol or Diesel would be a better option than the PHEV for such a big car. (Or PHEV with 6 cyl. like BMW). Will there be a 6 cyl. E53 version, does anybody know?
A car's interior design dates it. What will future generations say when they see a camera in the center console. "These were some self-obsessed arrogant asses"?
I own a 2012 E class. I bought it 1 owner, 48,000 miles. My dream car, but the jealousy over it, got it torn up. Then stolen, then I recovered it, and yhst pis
I had those similar rims on a 2020 S450. Absolute garbage. All 4 cracked several times, and Mercedes did nothing to cover any of it. The car was beautiful but the experience was completely ruined because of those wheels. Buyer beware.
I don't know about that. The S class being as long and heavy as it is is a deterrent for me. I don't need or want all that just for myself. And the new dash is terrible. A smaller car with air suspension and a better dash sounds pretty perfect.
The interior is just too much. The exterior is disappointing - the rear is just ugly and the front is super boring. Recent Mercedes designs are just subpar. And driving is the biggest disappointment. So much lag, lazy clutches and dumb transmissions.
