The car is incredibly comfortable to drive. I live in a city, so a compact car is a must have. I drive the e208 as a business lease car, but wouldn't have chosen the 2024 model otherwise. It's predecessor (2022) is almost the same car, just cheaper. Also as a dutch 🇳🇱 viewer, my glove compartment is way bigger 😉

No chance of 200miles real world range . At 3.6 and usable battery of 48.1kw that’s a range of 173 miles

That 3.6 is after a lot of motorway driving. In the elements of urban driving I had been doing, I saw a journey average of 4.2 m/kWh which does mean for urban driving you could easily get 200 miles. We know that range suffers on motorways though.

This uses their older battery and motor set up. Their new platform, underpinning the new E-3008 is a massive step forward.

My 14 year old fiesta gets 320 miles range out of an outdated engine, so it's shocking to see 200 mile range of an electric vehicle

@@Matty12333 the difference is. It’s cost you £60+ to fill your tank and do that mileage . As where it’s cost £3.60 to do 200miles . So all in all less than £10 in comparison

Unfortunately estates are no longer bought by most consumers. The smallest estate Peugeot offers is now the 308.

Except the 2008 isn't as spacious or as useful as an estate. The only benefit it really gets you is an increased ride height.

Don't forget that more and more new cars are bought on finance terms, so it's increasingly about how much it costs you per month instead of the overall purchase price. 💶💶💶

I think that Peugeots are over designed and the claw like LEDs look gimmicky. I also think that they age too quickly. I saw a new 408 on the road for the first time just over a month ago and found it to be a striking looking car but now when I see one, they look dated and awkward. That amount of money for a small electric Peugeot? No thanks!

The trim level of the car can have a bit of an impact on how it looks. It also massively impacts the price. New cars are more expensive nowadays though, but often it's the monthly price that really matters to people, with most new vehicles being bought on finance.

I don't understand who in 2024 says, I don't want a Toyota, i don't want a Honda, Mazda, KIA, Volvo, Mini, Ford, BMW, VW, Skoda, Seat...etc I am gonna burn all my money on a Peugeot! I never understood the kind of people who drive citroen and Peugeot, although it is quite obvious by the way they drive.
