Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarfs is a 1943 Merrie Melodies animated cartoon directed by Bob Clampett. The short was released on January 16, 1943. This film is under copyright and cannot be shown on RU-vid in its entirety.
This is a newly obtained 16mm print of Coal Black from ‪@jericodvorak4538‬
Compared to the 2021 restoration, the image sharpness and colors are more accurate.

While this restoration work is truly impressive, I have to be honest - I am 100% ok if the censored eleven cartoons never see the light of day.

They will likely never be on common Looney Tunes DVDs, but they deserve to be preserved.

That's basically acting like these cartoons never existed, and that's a bad thing. Preservation of art is important, and this cartoon is considered to be a masterpiece by many animation historians.
