This course is beautiful! This first 3-click round was a lot of fun! It is so much easier on Tour normal swing difficulty versus simulation hard swing difficulty. 2k is so much better much better ball physics and the swing stick on master settings is really good on 2k that’s how it’s supposed to be 3 click and you’ll never miss a shot 🤦♂️
Great video! I use only 3-Click on 2K23 on Pro and Master settings. I find on EA that on normal it moves a bit too slow. But I think a miss on the timing on EA, you are penalized more with a wayward shot. Which I do enjoy that aspect of it. For me, I am glad that we now have 3-Click. Cheers!
Hi Ryan - great video. The upgrades look great, but with 3 click set on normal difficulty - its just way to easy, and thats what I was afraid of. On hard it looks a bit more difficult but its still nowhere near as difficult as 2K. 3 click on 2K is a lot more of a challenge, that said everyone still complains of it being to easy!! If you are looking for a realistic challenge then that 3 click swing meter needs to be sped up big time. I certainly wont be playing on normal difficulty, I'll stay on hard difficulty and see how it goes. Cheers Doug
If you want your drives/approaches to actually have a chance of going left or right, then this is the mode to play. Love it. Too bad the analog swing isn’t as punishing as the 3 click meter. You also need to be playing on hard mode with this meter as normal is way too slow and easy.
Any idea why the camera pans to the right as soon as you hit a putt? Takes away the suspense...although the grids tell you where the break is, and how much, so not much suspense left anyway.
I got this game a few days ago and I am amazed at how incredible the graphics and detail is. Then I find out it has 3 click system and I’m over the moon!! I have a question for u or anyone, are u supposed to do all the challenges first to upgrade ur stats? All my stats are really low and I am huge changes in shots even if I miss the downswing by a hair. I just wondered

They absolutely are. They fixed them going in the wrong direction but the breaks speeds are still super off sometimes. It’s a shame because 2k3 grids are very accurate for as many problems that game has.
@@GamerAbility It’s great fun. Arcade like but quite a realistic simulation too. Very addictive. You can complete a round in about 30 minutes if you really go for it.
Yeah I always pronounce it wrong, and honestly a lot of words wrong LOL! Chat always jokes about it in livestreams of me pronouncing this course wrong, so I just go with it for the memes now haha! As long as it is close enough, it does not matter to me
So online competitive is analog swing only I believe. I think you can use 3-click in online private matches. You can also use 3-click for the daily arcade tournament
So I was able to download the update on Xbox very early this morning, so it should be live for everyone now. But I have seen comments from a few others on Xbox that the update has not shown up yet. Hopefully it shows up for you soon. I went to my games and apps > Updates and found it there.
So i have 2k23 , and i have only seen videos of the three click swing , im not sure if this is consider pro on Ea , which is what i play on 2k23, but if it is , it seems way easier and way slower then 2k23 (on pro difficulty)
Yeah this was technically the equivalent difficulty to Pro on 2K23, but I changed to what would be the equivalent to legend later on in the video. Yeah it is way slower than that of PGA 2K23.
Hey man have you encountered the bug that randomly moves your short game shot? I’ll chip or flop onto the green and the ball will be about 2 ft away then once the golfer gets to the ball I’m 7ft away..lol. I’ve had it work in my favor one time too though. Hopefully this gets patched before it ruins online play
Hope they update the graphics there not bad but could be better and 60fps and more animations also help from the caddies they should of used unreal engine 5 game would of looked amazing
Thanks for testing 3 click. I am playing on a PC.I was expecting to use the mouse for 3 click,but in fact you use the A key on the keyboard.....I wonder if I will wear it out😊
Yeah I am surprised that was not fixed. I actually have not experienced this glitch on Xbox, but I know a lot of people are especially on ps5 it seems.
This 3-click makes it look like EA are the new boys on the block and not 2K. It looks so nineties!!! I by a looooong way prefer the 3-click on 2K, as you get properly penalised for mishits (as in real golf!), but by a looooooong way prefer the gameplay (and graphics) in EA!
I don't understand how people say the game looks good..The characters look like from an early 2000s golf game and the graphics has so much pop in that it ruins the experience..... Im playing the trial on Xbox series S.
They need to speed the 3 click up based on what you are playing (pro, etc.) but what do I know, haven't played 3 click yet on here. Maybe that's in the works and they just wanted to get 3 click out there and see how players like it before adjusting speed of it. Looks like I replied to soon in the video, you covered the speed of it mid video.
So it is the swing difficulty option that makes it faster. So in this video I played a lot of holes on hard swing difficulty setting as well and it was so much faster on there. But yeah I feel like they need to add more swing difficulty levels. They have easy, normal, and hard right now, and I feel like if they added a few more it would be nice to separate the different difficulty presets in the game. Tour being on normal swing difficulty, makes 3-click very easy on that setting.
I think the best way to learn is by turning on the putt read settings and seeing the optimal line. You can turn it off later, but really helps with learning the breaks. The more you play the green reading will get easier. Just takes seeing a lot of different grid speeds and putts before it really starts to click. I do have a putting tutorial on the channel that you may find helpful if you have not already watched it.
@@GamerAbility thanks, I’ll check out the putting tutorial for sure. The putting is not as much of a problem as the approach shots. Driving is pretty easy but once I try to get it on the green from the fairway, I run into trouble. 2k is much easier
I do not use the controller and I was just getting use to the 'Swinger' style when they introduced '3-click' because of community demand. It's OK, but they took away the ability to 'Swing' off Keyboard and mouse users and now we can't play with the 'swingers' anymore. I hope they return that function as an option to keyboard users.
Are u on ps5, so if I have neither game, even though 2k on sale now for 24 at bb, should I fork the 70. Are graphics like wayyy better in ea? Any updates to the 30fps, or just not really noticble as people say? Kenny
Great update for features, yes. but yet again has broken career mode for most people. career mode will crash every time I drop the ball into the cup, and PS5 Volume settings still won't save.
So far I have preferred 2k but the 3 click in that game is garbage. I have had trouble with this originally because even with the fastest swing tempo it was like swinging through water, just way too slow. I will playing 3 click for this game though. I am bad either way but it is just easier for me.
It's amazing that no one even asked what EA was trying to update the first time? I still don't get rewarded for challenges even after completing with three stars or even one. In the three click swing the putting doesn't track well if you move it off the putting line. The ball wants to track the putting line even when you add a break.
This was on special offer a couple of days ago I was so tempted but I didn't realise the three click system we're going to put in place I would have bought it the only thing stopping me was the lack I'm disabled and the lack of this particular method maybes games really inaccessible
I was going to wait for a sale, but would likely be waiting until at least the Steam summer sale. I'm glad I bought it now as it is the best game of golf I have played in a long long time! Can only get better with future updates, looking forward to more camera options the most!
The blue line shows the direction of the shot calculated for both the wind and the lye of the ball, point the line in the direction of the flag and you are spot on, an aid I don't use btw.
Looking forward to trying it later. 2K 3-click is just impossible for me. Totally unplayable by me hahaha Yay! No more creepy reaction shots. I always felt that my player was driven crazy by the faulty green grids hehe.
Yeah I alternated between normal and hard swing on this video. Easy on Normal for me, but much more challenging on the hard swing difficulty settings. The misses are very punishing on hard.
