So despite it performing rather poorly I absolutely love the idea of something like this. It's like an "emergency make up kit" that has everything if you have to head out spontaneously for a business trip or just a general trip over night and you cannot take a lot of luggage and need it ready right away. It would need to be more costumizable to begin with (and maybe do one with skincare as well🤔🤔🤔) but yeah overall I think this is quite a good idea. Needs improvement on the product itself :)
@@fannyfeld2539 would even buy an empty container that I can fill up with my own foundation etc. And store somewhere where it's ready to grab in case you need it.
I feel like a spot concealer would be a better fit for the palettes than a foundation. I’d pull the foundation out of the pink case, pop in the other eyeshadow, then you have the decent stuff in one.

Pretty sure most Koreans wouldn't want bad, overly priced cheapo makeup... Don't generalise. lol Also, some Koreans are tan or have more colour in their skin; Not every Korean has lighter skin. lol But a lot of the base products do have brightening effects, same with skin care and some has whitening effects too. I mean, look at Hwasa, RM and V; They all have slightly tanned skin and that's their natural skin tone. So no, not all Koreans are naturally white.

The concept of the packaging is really good so if like have spare amounts of your go to make up you can replace the original contents and put your make up there.

I think since you can take out the pans you can replace them with like other ones.And I would take that on a trip.A long with other tiny palettes just in case.
I feel like this product had so much potential - probably could be improved by having the pans in a rectangular shape that takes up the little space that’s available. There should be some size variation in the pans so that it corresponds with how much product people usually need for that specific thing! For example the foundation pan can take up about a third of the space :)
if they actually worked, i think i would absolutely buy them ( especially the second kit ). they have all you need and would be amazing to bring when you go to a trip or if you have to go out all day. but they work soooo bad... i'm absolutely shocked ( also, the models in the photos are surely wearing other products.
Subtl Beauty sells customisable makeup stacks that look pretty interesting. It includes a lip and cheek colour, concealer, bronzer, highlighter and shine control powder. Might be worth trying?
I really love the packaging to I think the concept is such a great idea it's a shame the products don't perform. A bigger version of this with bigger pants by an actual good company like tarte would be phenomenal!
i think that it would be really cool if they had the pallett double sided so that you can take it out and switch it so that you could have more fondation and maybe a contour or powder

Trying to find a foundation is such a struggle in Korea. There are literally only two or three shades 🙈🙈🙈 Also! This reminds me of the first generation of em cosmetics where you can customize but product itself seems like kid makeup 🤔

i feel like people should think about the fact that korean beauty products like this mainly cater to korean beauty ideals which is more of a natural and less pigmented feel. So, i get it doesn't fit the ideals of western culture, but people should think about the fact this make up is marketed for that beauty ideal.
Honestly I think these do exactly the look shown in their photos. The style of makeup is very different from western style makeup. The Korean makeup usually looks very light, just a wash of color, not meant to be seen so much as just enhance. You looked great, just like their models. :) The blush especially was beautiful. I think we should evaluate makeup for the source expectations, rather than the expectations of a different style and culture. Seems like when I watch Korean girls doing Korean makeup do exactly what this makeup does. :) I do think this is vastly overpriced! Very cute though. And your dog is so adorable!
I was gifted this and I ended up scraping out the foundation and the lip colour and putting my own cream products in. Worked a charm after that...but I wouldn't have done it if I knew the price...
You know, maybe it all ready exists, but I think it would be neat if a company sold super cute, heavy duty, pallet containers that you could customize with the colors you wanted. Maybe bigger spots for blush, contour, etc. And smaller pans for eye shadow. Then you'd just buy the little refills you want. I'm really into trying to reduce my consumption of single use items lately. If anyone knows of something like this of good quality maybe let me know? Love the puppy intro!
You're forgetting that Koreans like very natural and soft makeup, so it's only natural that the shades would be natural and soft, that's also why the brown liner is so light. I mean I haven't tried it so I can't speak from experience but I think you can't compare it to other makeup, specially Western makeup
