Yeah sadly k-beauty brands only make shades Korean people wanna use usually when they make more they don’t ever sell but these would have sold because international armies would buy them but brands don’t care
I won't lie, i wish bighit collabed with a better makeup brand... that brand is representing bts and i guess people assume bts had more of an involvement with it and bc the make up isn't the best it gives bts a bad namd
yeah, I think they just gave them the right to use the characters but its kind of disappointing that they didn't do something better than this collection. I really don't think that BTS did something with the actual formula and stuff but you know its business and marketing haha
I can't think of many good makeup brands for this kind of thing, but I feel like they could make a skin care kit using BT21 characters and it would amazing.

@Juliet Reuter sometimes it won't come out the right shade. They should just make a darker shades for everyone and not just their K ARMY'S so it won't lead up to us having to mix other products into the foundation so we can have a shade that fits us.
@@nabilayasmine3319 it doesn't even matter if they're a Korean company or not! Bts has international fans too so there for we all should be included because if it wasn't for the international fans BTS would probably still touring and throwing concerts in Korea and only Korea (and maybe Japan)

A korean company (despite probably their goal of becoming a worldwide makeup brand) would likely still provide only light shades when it comes to foundies or cushion. I'm pretty much convinced that bts would like the shade range to be as big as possible, but then again, they probably has no voice in the matter
@star the fantastic? i dont know much about korean makeup industries or companies but they tend to lean for lighter shades even if people have diffrent skin colors even some korean who have darker skin cant sometimes use the foundation becuse it is too light but maybe it just has to do with their standars but i know that colorism has gone a long way back in their history

tata runs lighter then the other cushions. i have tata and chimmy. both in 21. and tata is too light for me. im normally 21 straight across the board for kbeauty as well

When you contour, you do it the western way which is fine but if you want more pigment, don’t go for the korean products because they contour differently. Since their makeup is more natural, everything is usually less pigmented. When they contour, they make their face smaller by going on their forehead around their face and to their chin and jawline. They don’t bother with the cheeks because it makes them look more mature. Since they like looking pale asf, the contour is light but still visible enough. Korean brands shouldn’t be used the western way because it won’t achieve the same results. It’s best to do the most fair review on products for RU-vid.
BTS has a lot of “western” fans, they became international very famous because of them. So it would have been fair to add more shades than pale and extra pale. But no, they limit the products to Koreans/Japanese. Everything else looks awesome but the foundations yeah.. And personally I think such pale colors look horrible if the rest of your body is darker. If that’s your your natural color than go for it!
Ardelean Nicole What you’re saying is correct, however, just because the product has BTS’s name on it doesn’t mean that BTS themselves are the one to blame if the product is bad. 1. The company that are working with MAKES the product. BTS just promotes it 2. This is strictly KOREAN MAKEUP. BTS yet again just sponsors it. Also, let’s take other countries into consideration. The United States (along with others) have a variety of skin colors across the entire state. This means that the skin colors for makeup is all different. However, the beauty standard in KOREA is pale and white. That’s how their beauty standards are. Just because people like their skincare, fashion, music, etc doesn’t mean they should extend everything so suddenly because so. Korea has a hard time enough to understand the other side of the world, so they should be able to take small steps. And yet again, BTS isn’t the one that made this product. Just people they have western fans doesn’t mean that the company making the makeup should apply that to their products that they are producing.

Even compared with other Korean brands like Peri Pera or Etude House, this collection is not a HIT
Rule of thumb: If it is for a special event or can be fixed easily, immediately tell your friend. Otherwise, only correct them if they do it more than once!
i love bts but we all know that makeup line is... meh. Also, it’s 2019, when will korean brands learn to be inclusive? there are koreans who like to show their natural skin tone and not whitewash themselves

I literally just came from the V-live 2015 ep. “I NEED U, BTS on air” where Yoongi was begging for cosmetic companies to notice them and take them as models, lol. And now they even have their own make up line!
