Visit Nordic Nomads here for more: nordicnomads.org/en/iceland/ Pre register for full information when the full English website goes live on the 14th November. (In the meantime, you can see more info through the French side of the site, just use the Chrome or Safari translation tool)
Paul! You are The Suitcase Monkey, and we are all very grateful for that fact! Another truly well done, and complete video delivered, with the humour we have come to expect.
Harriet and I have been to Iceland. Truly a beautiful and scenic country. Drove all over the very diverse terrain. The video was outstanding . It covered many of the places you guys went to. The images were stunning. So Good! So Real! So Complete ! Paul, you out did yourself on this one . Ranked 10 out of 10. Thank you for the wonderful tour. Sending you Best Wishes mates from Jim and Harriet , Richmond, Va. 🙏🙏 P.S. Got to run to see it again.
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing, Iceland is so beautiful and peaceful. Interesting "puffin watching" Drive on the left! (got it!) Which season would you suggest for visiting there? (your visit was in August)
Haha, hmm yeah that’s right on the driving 😜 I’m currently making an Iceland travel guide video which covers more info on which months to visit. Stay tuned…
Looks so wonderful seeing this Iceland 🇮🇸 vlog here, mate! I also enjoyed the Osaka, Japan 🇯🇵 vlog on the other channel as well & thanks for sharing, Paul! 👍
Thank you Paul and Chiaki! just in time for my upcoming trip to Iceland!! Many of these spots were on my list but will be adding a few more. I'll be on the lookout for the next one! I have so many questions about transport and recommendations in Reykjavik!
@@SuitcaseMonkey that's amazing thank you! My main concerns are how to get to Reykjavik from the airport and any restaurant recommendations in Reykjavik. I'm sure you are all over this already :)
Excited to see your new video😅 notification this morning ! We finally booked our Portugal and Spain trip for next year in March, will watch your old videos more times 😊. Iceland roadtrip website doesn’t show price until you register?
Hey. The English part of the site will be going live on the 14 Nov (they have been operating for years but only just venturing out into English speaking countries). If you change the language to French and use the Chrome or Safari auto translation button you’ll see the full info on that page. But for 2024 it was €690 pp if I remember right…
Thanks! We went in August which is what I’d suggest but I’ll cover all months in more detail in the follow up travel guide I’m working on atm. Will be out in a few weeks. Stay tuned
Hey. For 2024 it was €690pp. 2025 bookings are opening next month, I believe on the 14th but I’m not sure if the price is the same. If you go to nordicnomads.org/en/iceland/ you can register to be notified which should have the lowest price. They are only just launching their packages to English speaking countries so the English side of the site should be fully live on that date too. In the meantime you can change the language to French on the site above and let your browser auto translate everything as it has much more info at the moment as they’ve been operating there for years.
Great video as always. Was going to ask when you made the trip, but saw in comments it was August. Do the tourist spots/Reykjavík feel crowded during the summer? What were the temps like in August?
Hey thanks. I think it was around 12 degrees on average. It didn’t feel busy in Reykjavik tho even if it’s ‘peak’ I’ll cover more in the follow up travel guide video in a couple weeks
