the atom processor in these is VERY fast it takes seconds to transfer apps between internal to SD card memory. you CAN charge with micro USB as well as adaptor. at first I was like who uses barrel connectors for power any longer. but yea use micro USB. it gets HOT and battery dies fast. does the atom have a heat sink? I'd think it would have to as even my old dell mini9 needed a heat spreader for it. only downfall is it does lag a bit. it is probably other hardware that is cheap and needs a few seconds to catch up to the atom. the 16 gigs is TOTAL. which I think they should have a separate chip for Android but that's industry standard to use the storage ram for os I paid 25 for mine at Walmart and it performs better than my Lenovo. but Lenovo having corruptions in their updates don't help those case. the voyager with keyboard (I paid 30 for that Walmart in January) is fast with mediatek processor. of the three tabs I'd rate the Intel one the fastest, next being the voyager with keyboard and last the Lenovo. looks can be deceiving. they all have their pros and cons you get what you pay for and sometimes cheaper is better. with the Intel tab I wonder if you could port windows on it???

I have that. In fact I'm using it to type right now. Some apps I have on my old phone isn't compatible with this tablet but that's okay. I asked for a tablet, this is what I got, and I ain't complaining. you people should be happy for the things you have not for the things you want.

According to RCA, the Voyager 3 does have an IPS screen. I was thinking of picking one up to essentially use as an ebook reader with that IPS screen. The model # of the one at Walmart is different than the model number you have RCT6973W43

Great video! keep up the awesome content! ...The main thing about RCA tablets that I dislike is the exposed sd card slot..it just annoys me for some reason, dust can get in easily and cause issues, and we could accidentally eject it.

this is the second one I bought....the first was great! it was in may2016. I just bought another the exact same one as seen on this video,got it 3weeks ago at Walmart payed 80$ for it and the battery dies within 20 minutes of use off the charger...it's fine if it's on charge??? it shows full charge and as soon as it's takin off it dies within 20 minutes..it's too bad! I find this is a fine device especially for my kid's...it's easy to use and is great otherwise!☺

Underground Tech, RCA needs to have at least a 720p PLS display with the off access viewing angles of OLED to make the colors almost real compared to other OLED displays on the Google Pixel, Samsung, Motorola, and LG devices!

so i've had 2 rca voyagers and both had a similar issue that made me return them. they would both get super hot around the headphone jack area and one tablet almost burned a piilow and smelled bad. is this common with all rca tablets or just my luck?

This thing needs to be rootable and flashable ASAP - this RCA tablet is complete crap with that non ips screen - just from my VNC tasks I've seen burn in for only 15 mins of work. the only good thing about it is the occasional few times where i don't really want to use my phone to watch a RU-vid vids or read a pdf. (Even then the battery life on it is absolutely terrible.)
