Glamrgrl104 It’s a decent working tablet but I wouldn’t recommend using it hardcore because I’ve tried running heavy apps on it and the tablet barely runs it, if you are looking at getting an RCA tablet I believe RCA sells a newer atlas 10 pro but the one in the video is no longer sold
@@trinityloneeagle thanks for quick reply. I decided to get samsung tab a 10.1 2019 or s4 w s pen. Both have pretty good deals on eBay. Insanely better screen res too. Even next to the iPad the screen is so bright and beauty.
@@Glamrgrl104 That sounds like a good Choice, I don't really use my RCA tablet that much because now I have the iPad 6th generation. I also have a Samsung tablet from 2014
@@trinityloneeagle the for reply. Now looking into iPad 7tg gen which about 360 w pencil and case new. Or a surface pro but most people say iPad best for drawing.
I was scared to break something trying to detach the keyboard. . . this video made me realize how goofy that was! I just got mine off Amazon, and very impressed. Thank you for this video!
Mine got hacked. probably multiple different viruses on it. I've had it for a few years and it doesn't work anymore. But there is one thing that I remember, it would always flash an image of an update that I could get on it for "free". Pretty sure someone can see through the screen. Also it would give me *REALLY* specific ads. I wouldn't recommend
Very similar to the Viking pro 2. Only differences I see are better battery life, and a new Android. I was expecting more RAM, better cameras, and a USB 3.0 Seems really lazy on RCA's part especially since this is selling for over $40 when compared to the Viking. Nice review tho.
I want something like a tablet that I can draw while not having to be on the computer, I already have an xp pen artist 12 for that. I'm looking into the spin 11 bc bigger screen and stylus $329 I think, but then toying w the idea getting the cheaper iPad w apple pencil for $300. Both have cons the iPad only has 2gb ram and the chromebook has 4. In perspective My Kindle fire HD 8 is 1.5gb ram and 16 GB storage. It runs apps just fine sometimes it closes out Pandora but I can run medibang, music and Instagram together. I just want a system that can do all that w/o lagging a lot
Underground Tech, yes I do want to see a review of this device, but in the review video, I'm curious if it does, or doesn't have adoptable storage like it was in past versions of Android, mainly Android 6.0 Marshmallow! The RCA Voyager 3 from what I know had Adoptable storage since it was running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, expanding the onboard storage on an Android device is very important to people that want a Micro SD Card slot, and wants to expand the onboard storage with the Micro SD card of their choice!
To those of us who are not here, does this have the cast feature. My old rca tablet does. And it's great because it allows casting to your tv without using Chromecast it anything. You just enable the feature, please advise. Thanks
There are many videos on You Tube about the Flex 8 Tablet hopefully some of the videos will have links on them to the tablet you are looking for!!!!! Hope this helped!!!!!!
What is the RAM size? - if you have a unit that has 2GB then it will barely run, my guess is that because the RAM size is not shown on the box that it might 1GB which the unit will not run as I have the Viking Pro model and only 1GB and - I had to literally disable all but 1 app the browser in order to get the thing to run. The OS consumes up to nearly 80% of the ram. After the updates could barely get done it is still laggy and nearly bricked. You have to look under the settings at RAM/Memory to see what it has. Also For those of you thinking on getting one of these now in today's date DON'T. as the unit might not run because of the Android OS being to big, Make sure you research the RAM size first- Not the hard drive size as that will be the 32GB storage. 1GB RAM is not enough room to run any thing, this was designed for back in the day when KIT Cat was around as the OS.
