Wow. Now this seems better than the wright zk. Nice options. The pto rpm down on disengage is very useful and nice. The clutch saver for sure. They made it fast finally. The engine guard is nice going around tree branches. The deck cuts amazing I heard. 16 cc pumps like zk. This may be the new king.
What a freakin' beast! Can't wait to see it next month at Expo. Hope you do add one to your fleet, Brian. Looks like a major boost in productivity for those HOA's you mow.
That is a fine-looking Exmark Stand-On mower; my laser Z Ultra 60-inch 2002 still performs like a well-oiled machine! Brian, I hope to see you at the Equipment Expo!
awesome to see another brand starting to offer a big block on their standers. so many on the market dont. hopefully they will offer that engine option or similar on the 60in as well. i dont quite need 72 myself lol
Exmark makes a real nice mower. I own a ZX 60 with a 37 hp Oil Guard engine and a 31 hp Kawasaki. The biggest problem now is the insanely high price for a new one. My 2022 ZX with the Oil Guard and Bagger was $24,800. If I run it 2500 hours I would be lucky to sell it for $5k. It's hard to justify taking that financial hit.
This Exmark Vertex X Series with the 38.5 engine and 72 inch deck is absolutely beautiful would love to demo this and the same setup in the 60 inch version as well.
The engine is a 38.5 HP Kaw. not 39.5. Bout time they started using double cap gauge wheels. Exmark is pricing themselves out of the market in my area.
Hey Brian! Love the videos. Looking for any advice you have on my situation. I’m getting a dump bed insert in my Silverado 3500-planning to make a leaf box setup for this fall for a two man crew. I just bought a one year old used 18hp debris loader that is 30” by 30”. I figured I could put it on the tongue of my enclosed trailer but the problem is it’s a v-nose trailer and there’s basically zero room for it. That means I need the tongue extended somehow to make enough room for the debris loader. But I’m not sure what the best option would be. Do you think I should have someone extend the tongue of the trailer about 2.5’-3’? Should I get a special extended tow hitch? What do you think would be my best option? Thank you.
Hey buddy yeah that’s a challenging one, I am not entirely sure what route to suggest. Just keep thinking with some creative solutions and you’ll get there!
@@bradevelt7613 that’s what I’m thinking, I’ve just heard that extending the nose/frame will make the trailer sway more and make it more difficult to tow… not sure
Looks like they copied the ZK hard here. But looks like a solid machine, I may look into one one next year. The ZK is a beast in every aspect except I’m not crazy about the deck. Exmark seems to make great cutter decks. The wright deck is great build quality but it doesn’t handle overgrown stuff as well as the Scag and Ferris mowers I used to have.
@schofieldlawncare do you know if Exmark offers fleet discount? Thinking about switching from Scag to Exmark. I know scag has a really good discount system.
Except the handle controls the dual tanks the fact the engine moves up and down with the deck. Seems to be a lot of tech stolen from wright. It's a zk with an ultra cut deck. Freaking wright fan but wholly crap all the good wright features and a deck that doesn't cut like a turd!!! I am in.
@@mwh3501 Pretty much every mower looks the exact same. It's just a shakedown of practical engineering. Like a bicycle, everything eventually will mimic it because it just works!
hey Brian, do you know any good landscaping focused channels other than Auman landscaping? lovin the videos and the podcasts, keep it up!!🫡 insane mower btw, would be better if it was a scag though 🤣 just joking, a quality machine is a quality machine, brand name is secondary
COMPLETE JUNK, GARBAGE ETC, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Company i work for bought a few of these and they have more down time so far than work time. They have been at dealer literally 3 times a week due to hardware keeps breaking or coming unfastened. The deck has fallen to the ground 8 times due to hardware breaking. belts have already broken and the machine hours range from 20-190.
The Vertex S and even X series are literally incredible, what data do you even have to say otherwise? We’ve logged 2,000 hours on our machines in the last 12 months, not a single issue. Maybe teach your team how to use a piece of equipment to not damage them.
@BriansLawnMaintenance First of all is not my team. I'm going by what I've seen. Just because you MAY NOT BE experiencing issues doesn't mean a different company isn't. I'm going by what I see day after day. At the end of the day they call them skid marks for a reason, meaning their poop!
