I would love to see a range test, and 0-20 speed test. The street legality really sells this e bike/moto for me, if I spend 4k+ on a bike I don’t want to have to deal with impound anxiety. $5995 may be a hard sell for some, but the specs and quality seems worth it. This thing is rocking a 400 amp controller, and uses quality lg battery cells. There’s a 10% off code on the site, financing available, and free shipping. This would be an awesome commuter bike. Color me intrigued.
@@jayowen286 I agree with all of you points, especially the removal of worry about getting an illegal bike impounded. I have the same fear with my SurRon which is why im going to sell it and get something street legal. This bike is a very good deal and I am also intrigued.
Awesome been looking at this ebike since its first version years ago. Now with version 2 it definitely is a fun buy. Glad its a getting a review it deserves.
The original bike is called the “Denzel samurai” that’s the Chinese company that made it. Solar just buys them and puts some stickers on em + adds a grand to the price. U may be able to get one from them, cheaper, I’d u don’t mind waiting
@@williammadisondavisI just looked into it, and it says that you also need to pay for shipping/ freight which is another 1-2k plus the original 4.2k so idk
This was a great review. I think it was very respectable that you were upfront about that it was sent for free, and had honest critique. Overall, I feel this was very informative as someone interested in this bike.
Wow this bike is an amazing deal. There isn’t many road legal emoto’s under 7,000-8,000. This is a very good contender especially when compared to the only other good deal emoto, the Land Moto District. I might have to consider one of these.
This seems cool if you wanna go street legal and commute short trips cooler than a moped for sure. I wouldn’t do any stunt riding or off-roading with it. But I wanna see the 72v XXX build 😎
I remember when the company founder was asking questions about what ppl wanted while they were prototyping this entire company/v1. I forget which forum. That was years ago. Awesome to see they made it. EDIT: my mistake. That was Rawrr asking the ppl for info. Time to watch that vid on your channel.
Speaking of aftermarket stuff - since the motor is mounted / direct driven to the sprocket - I’d imagine it’d be quite easy to swap it for something more powerful like a QSxxx brushless motor. Seems like a pretty bike to modify for that reason. I also believe this bike would’ve been a phenomenal candidate for just a massive rear hub drive. Almost like a lightweight drag bike.
With the ban in Florida on e bikes, I'm really worried about the laws that will be introduced. It was only a matter of time and bikes like Talarias and Surrons will be hit the worst. I live in Australia and our laws are way stricted than the US and even then we are made out to be hoons on bikes. I dont know what the future holds, as in licences and crap like that but enjoy the freedom while you can guys. Love the channel guys, keep it up, cheers from Wollongong, Australia
Yeah im worried about that too. I was interested in this bike because of ita 45 Amp hour battery for the range but i dont like the idea of the vin number thing as this would be a forced requirement for yearly pricey registration, insurance and possibly a M License. I have a standard class C license and use stand up scooters for work and running small errands and like that in the USA as long as i follow the rules of the road and dont go over the speed limit, i wont get pulled over by a cop. Im also looking at the Segway Xyber ebike. There just isnt enough details on it yet.
I would like to ask where this was shot at. The view from your yard, specifically, is just stunning! Also what do you think of the range in this bike? Is it adequate? P.S. I juts giggled at the doggos chasing each other in the background :D
a 360 camera would probably help with the b roll and side footage a whole lot so each rider could focus on their ride instead of recording around themselves. Good video thanks for the info
I would appreciate an offroad review. Solar reports there is 2 inches of carbon protecting the motor and thus a bash guard is not necessary. I believe it has KKE suspension. Is the absent rear linkage a serious concern?
And yes you sent me the link and I watched the video. I'm torn between getting an E ride, or maybe even the new tallaria x5 u guys showed. I noticed you guys have one on your website, how long does it take to deliver to California? I also emailed you.
Hey talaria boys You said you are gona test a New motor on your talaria Is this the sotion motor? I would love to see what the nucular controller can do with sotion motor and 72v battery Sotion motor does only 1000 rpm more than the mx4 Motor So topspeed maybe only go 6 mph higher But i want to know are 500a phase amps that the nucular do enough for the sotion motor 😅 ore it is not worth to upgrade main reason would be the Temperatur for me to Upgrade to sotion motor My setup is 72v battery and nucular controller on mx4 Maybe you can put for test the nucular on the bike when you have install the motor 😁 ( please 😅)
@@Talariaboys that would be great to see the difference between the two motor i plan to go maybe to sotion motor but so far no realy Videos about it on talaria And See how different controller handle this motor also
I fell into your channel. I am very interested in your professional opinion . I am looking for an E bike , not a bicycle with electric assist. I overland , ( 4x4 off road adventurer with camping). I need a bike that will give me the ability to scout ahead of an unknown trail that is very technical. speed is not the need. agility is . low end trail crawling. also if possible to get in the same package . A street capable ( hybrid ) that can carry another person to hospital or a gas station for resupply of fuel or food. Hope to hear from you soon. Kevin
@@TalariaboysSeems as if there should be a setting in the controller you could change to compensate. My Eskateboards have that adjustment for tire size.
I personally would pick the E ride for sure but I ride primarily off road. This bike is good on road because it can be registered but e ride is much better off-road than the solar.
@@Talariaboys out of genuine lack of knowledge like not tryna be sarcastic or anything, why is this good? It's the only reason I have not even considered this bike.
@@user-br6wp7ro6p No, other youtubers I have no issues I have a set volume. Every time Talaria Boys video ends I have to turn down my volume or else the other videos are too loud.
We gotta stop you there. There is no way in heck this bike goes 60 miles at 50mph. Our other e-motos with the same size battery go like 24-28 miles at that speed.
Boys….. I love ya but you have got to stop doing top speed tests and range tests during the winter. It’s just not an accurate representation… I have an eride pro ss and when I ride below freezing temps I lose about 10 miles per hour and a lot of range
