Not the kind of riding that I'm capable of at my age, but I'm impressed. Something that I would have loved in my 20s, except that I wouldn't have been able to afford it 😂
Dude forget the Cali incline I can tell you off the bat this thing will power up it without a single thought lol Just look at the amps it's able to pull!
The adult me wouldn’t want to own anything you feature on this channel because I’d prefer to not kill myself, but the inner child drools over this stuff. I’ll probably stick to the tail happy tv class bikes, but I enjoy these videos none the less. :)
Yea it seems like you need to live in a city where crime is so high that the cops have way more to worry about than someone on a bike. Its still illegal but its the least of their concerns. In my small beach town I don't even know if I'd get away with a moped style bike, nevermind anything like this. Its kept me from buying any bike which really sucks
I have been watching your videos on various e bikes especially the solar eclipse 2.0 which is awesome . And the little tool kit is so important . Always make sure any e bike you tighten everything part of it up. Keep rocking Matt . Brian
Have you considered working with a local motorcycle dealership? That way you could use dealer plates for your rides. And you could bring in customers who want to purchase electric and gas motorcycles.
Peace be with you😌 The Solar E-Clipse 2.0 is a Beautiful E-Moto🥰. Too lovely😍 to be ridden off-road. The Super Moto version, having a set of carbon fiber wheels must look Super Dope! Thank you for this review. Speaking of putting one's life in your hands🤨 Perhaps you can review new YUME's Predator E-Scooter. Water Cooled Custom made motor controllers, 72V, 2 x 4000W motors and 13 inch tyres. Thanks again😉
As it's called "Solar" it'd be nice if they'd build in a charge controller and a port somewhere with MC4 connectors. You could take a BougeRV Yuma or two with you and unroll them when parked. (Why yes, I know 200-400w of solar laying flat on the ground wouldn't charge the entire battery, but every little helps)
Why do you still have a skid mark on your living room floor? Does that not clean off? Also, living in a small place (I do too), where do you store all your e bikes and scooters?
He did a burnout inside which caused that mark. Bikes are stored in a storage container but he only keeps a couple at once. Most review bikes are sold on Facebook marketplace after he's made the video.
@@ramborambokitchenkitchen6357 Thanks interesting. How much does he sell them for? Also, what does he say to the potential buyers about where he got them?
@@phototristan I'd imagine he sells them at a pretty steep discount because he got the bike for free. Whoever buys off him is getting a bargain for sure because he only puts about 20 miles on each review bike. No idea what he says to people but this channel exists so they can look it up and see he's all legit. I've found one of his marketplace listings before I'm 99% sure 🤣.
I am Brian of the Trail Riders Fellowship {Life Member} Looks Good To America I can remember 50 cc Bikes with pedals called "Fizzie bikes" my son and friends loved them
Yamaha FS1E, it was a legend to 70's teenagerz (I hear). At the time, mopeds in Britain had to have pedals, but you didn't need to use them, so they could be disconnected and locked to become footpegs. I fancied one for years until I found out they'd quietly changed the law, making a car licence no longer an automatic moped licence. And also a decent one was crazily expensive!
It would be nice to have a rear rack/frame to carry an optional second battery. Many excursionist here in the european alps area would love a bike like that (me included).
Of course, brake tests don't REQUIRE a wall, a steep incline, or a dead end with guard rails etc. It sure adds drama though! Granted, it does add drama! This is a fun bike, if you have the funds fir this much fun.
@@aratay3117 The bike would just randomly shut off. Nobody knows why(except the company ofc), but people would be riding it & it would just go dead. You'd have to restart it to get things going again. Which is terrifying if you're riding in traffic.
Matt I have been watching your videos on various e bikes and so impressived me with the solar eclipse 2.0 . Nice one. I have one myself . Soon the Dan Dan king app will be out. Will be out soon in i phone .. What a beautiful machine.keep cool and tune it up . Watch one way Corey on this e bike . Make you smile. He can wheelie it like no one.
I got this bike as soon as I saw your other vid and it does not disappoint it's so much fun and a tank. I was trying to learn to wheelie and it sent me flying lol luckily the only thing that got damaged was the back break lights but i see they sell replacements now on the website might get that soon lol.
@@Panch0_Villa I have a few questions if you don't mind me asking.....What age are you? What height are you? What weight are you? Have you tested the top speed on the bike? Is it too tall or short for you? would really appreciate as im thinking of getting it lol
I really like it. The motor location is very common on gas mopeds. No way the Solar is bike path legal, but I'd say it's an excellent replacement for a gas moped assuming it's classified as a moped? That's usually 30mph top speed. I'm guessing that's what the locked setting is for.
@@ramborambokitchenkitchen6357In Japan it would be a "pink plate". Some postmen in Osaka ride Vespa-like electric bikes on pink plates. Those things go!

Hey Juiced Joyrides. Love your video. I actually bought this bike myself I just was curious what app you use to track your route and total milage. Theres a lot and often times they arent great. Thanks for your time if you do happen to see this!
Im looking at this bike, havent made my decision yet, but it definitely a nice looking bike, good video. By the way what app is that your using for the speedometer? If you don’t mind of course. Thanks
what about warranty and repairs ? On their website it dosent says anything beside third party company will pickup your bike, bring it back and u have to pay them for transportation
Motor on swing arm means lots of unsprung weight, the exact same main disadvantage of a hub motor. It probably is more reliable for hard hits and jumps but frame mounted motor is best.
When you're done send it my way lol, I want this so bad but until my kids are moved out and done w/ college I do NOT see that happening. I'd probably have a E-MTB first before this but .. damn would I have a lot of fun and my son would be SOO jealous he'd want to move back in! HAHA
@@SolarScootersuk - Thanks! In the video, I was a little surprised that unlocking the settings via app didn't improve the top end speed much. BTW: The bike is awesome, just was thinking that it would hit 60+ mph.
I need help team. I am strongly looking at this bike for commuting But IDK what I will need once i buy it. I have a Full Manual Driving licence (Car) , I have 2000 still after buying it. Just mainly do I need anything else other than a No. plater for UK Roads?
Beans that the motor is mounted to the swing arm there's no variation in chain tension I personally think they should design it to use those rubber belts I have a belt on my Sportster and there's no chain noise it's very smooth and you never have to oil it it's the only way to go
super cool, but i wish they would make something like this, but a little less power and add pedals. mostly want the large 72v battery that pulls out that easy.
If you got the 16" tires, which I'd want wouldn't that motor be even closer to hitting? I don't know much about these but that doesn't seem like the best spot for the motor. Also, I don't like that you have to take out screws to remove the battery. They could have easily made some kind of clips that held it in place or even a key to unlock it but screws? I see zero benefit to that design. Not having a garage anymore has killed any hopes for 90% of bikes I want
@@mpbikes1972bro shut up your just a troll, the support from Solar is one of the best I’ve ever had personally and from my friends who have bought from them.
Has anyone had a problem with the odometer being off on the miles I tried contacting solar about it but they refused to believe it was off probably because they don't want to warranty it any longer be aware
@@JuicedJoyrides They are sending me the Bluetooth connecter so the app will work on the bike. Tell me this please. Do I just set every parameter to 100%
Let's see what the rider looks like when they crash when only wearing stretch pants, low rise athletic shoes and short sleeve t shirt. Or shorts & t shirt.
