the mastek maserator is why we chose mastek, we used to have a slurry kat pipe system that had a volgestad maserator same as is on an abbey dribble bar and it used to give a good bit of trouble blocking, and yes the mastek has a spring back
I’m curious so you get 3 questions for your video😉😊 Where do you see yourself in 10 years time? What’s your average week like? What’s your favourite job to do on the farm?
Was it much paperwork to get the grant am a young farmer looking to buy a new tanker would it make a tanker cheaper if i got it with a dribble bar and grant
Paper work wasn't to bad but you I would highly recommend getting an advisor to do it for you I think teagasc charged around 200 for doing it and you need to get a dribble bar or trail and shoe to get the tanker, can't get a tank by itself, with the grant a bare basic tank and bar would cost about 12000 if I remember right
60% of the invoice of the tanker so you can spend as much as you want on the tanker to a limit the department has set out I think it was a grant of 40000 was the limit on a tanker, but once you go through with an advisor they'll let you know all the rules and stuff, also just so you know when I got accepted for the grant I had 3 years to buy the tanker and sort it out but my father applied for 1 recently for an umbilical system and he had 6 months to buy the system and sort it out, I think they moved the goalposts for every one
The 6290 you can see in the background of the video, it's waiting to get new hydraulic pumps and wider tyres for the back so it will be able to work it well
