I have been so hype to watch you play Smolder. Also I love that his burn execute sounds like a warped version of elder dragon execute.

Imagine how cool it would have been if Smolder evolves based on the amount of stacks he has. Like getting bigger and maybe alternate the abilities a little more.

Face "issues" aside, Smolder is so fucking cute. I *LOVE* the silly proud posture and mannerisms he has. It's freaking adorable.

His Q range scales with his attack range, so if you build Rapid Fire and take Tempo you can get up to 700 range with his Q.

19:52 It looks like the execute percentage goes up infinitely. Vandiril’s video showed the percentage as 143% at 5000 passive stacks. That’s if an enemy is under 143% HP. LOLZ

I’ve only played for 2.5 years and this is the first new champ that looks like it’ll be a main of mine. I play MF and Ezreal and Veigar so this looks AMAZING

seems like an interesting champ, feels like an interesting combination of some other adcs. Ult reminds me most of Pantheon R with the travel speed.

I didn’t expect q to be point and click ngl. And imo naviri without any AS feels kinda bad maybe ie is better. Also does he get stacks for every minion kill or just q minion kills? Because if its former he probably has more than 10 stacks per min

Id love to see you build him ap and try to see if his damage focus shifts more towards aoe poke with his w, and maybe nashors on hit on his e or soemthing. Ap ratios seem decent, could definitely be fun!

He doesn't really seem OP, the only real "OP" ability is his 3rd Q, but aside from that he still requires a lot of consideration from the player to make work. Has Riot finally made a just right new champion?

I love dragons in Runeterra, i play them a lot in LoR (fury) and in LoL. I would love to play him over and over, he actually looks a lot of fun to play. I wonder how he'll interact with Shyv and Asol (my highest mastery). I already heard him talk about J4 smelling like a dragon lol

it seems to me like he could be powerful built tank/brusier bc of the set true damage burn and execution that scales with stacks on his q. If you can stay in combat longer, then that burn is just going to keep ticking and if you have a lot of stacks they're going to die. Obv you dont get the same benefit from crit so maybe not but it strikes me as potentially powerful for late game hyper-carrying.

Q range is extended by RFC, I think he is going to synergize extremely well with Energize ADC items

Vayne, xayah in some circumstances, miss fortune e and then r which also works for that champion, kalista can engage with r, sivir also engages with r, so there are other adc champions who uses r first

Sure he isn't a Kai'sa but he has really good poke and with good positioning can easily retreat over a wall. So no matter what he isn't a adc that needs a ton of peel if he is able to play such high range like a hybrid of lethality varus and can still auto

Re: ADCs that use R first. Vayne. Kai'sa in certain situations, but that's not preferred. Jhin if he's trying to get to a fight. Ashe if she wants to be the first engage. But all of these except for Vayne are all....situational AF. Vayne wants to pop hers right away when the fight goes all in mode. Can't think of others off the top of my head.

I wish they didn't try so hard and turn him into a pixar character, but his kit looks fun. Guess I'll just have to mute his voice to stay sane.

At 22:02 it looks like you got a stack on the ranged minion even though you didn't last hit with Q (Kaisa did)

His E only gets 1 extra attack per crit item (it also doesn't apply on-hit), but his Q does get up to 30% increased damage yeah. You do stack Terminus per champion hit though, which is interesting. I honestly think on-hit is pretty great on him, and you can still get some crit in there even if you do go on-hit.

running out the stacks math vs veigar, excluding veigar's ult, which is usually wild overkill and doesnt need to benefit from stacks in order to do its work (with a lateish build to benefit from items, and assuming theres a bunch of stacks for veigar to get W CDR, and all abilities are max rank.yada yada) basically stack per stack smolder is about equal, maybe slightly weaker, on a rotation/time basis, but hybrid damage is a nice upside. on the downside is that just about the only item for boosting stacks that benefits veigar is rabadons, for smolder he wants navori and 100% crit chance (for navori itself and for the q and e boosted by crit) anyway the math was super rough but saying 'slightly weaker veigar passive' or maybe '80-90% of veigar's passive' is a decent approximation actually i just realized id forgotten veigars passive works on items, not just kit. sigh. okay call it like. 80% of veigar's passive, and thats probably pretty close

Maybe he would also be good with something like manamune, going into the direction of corki/ezreal, though more corki as corki scales better with crit.

Seems like he should be built as a bruiser. He doesn't have the ability to evade naturally, he just needs to survive longer. His stacking, his AoE, his burn, and his execute will get him the damage he needs, he doesn't need to be built full damage.

is it just me, or is anyone else having slight "problems" with his q color? Might just be that i have slept poorly, or just bad brain. But it looks very similar to the out of mana / not enough mana to cast the spell thing, like not really i know. However when i glanced down quickly for a brief moment my brain registered it like that, then upon further notice it changed back.

Is it just me that thinks it's odd you don't get two stacks for landing q on cannon like this feels intuitive based on nasus and veigar so then deviating from that seems weird.

Seems like every case with stacking champions - play sort of vegetatively, taking every possible good decision and macro to further increase stacks to snowball the game.

I wonder if Smolder would benefit from a corki like build, like Manamune Ravenous Hydra into some Ap like deathcap

Curious if rapid fire cannon increase the range of his Q and if so if that would solve the issue you mention of feeling not quite as powerful as you'd like for a late game stacking champ at full build.

How are his AP ratios, would it even be viable or does his stacking Passive kind of just negate that?

Senna is an ADC. Whether you count her as a bot laner or not is a different story. ADC = Attack Damage Carry, it is super easy to put two and two together, Senna is a carry support with her own damage that uses Attack Damage / AD. No one is THIS stupid to not realize that.

felt more like people would forget how to auto weave due to wanting to burn the enemies with Q, some of the teamfight were pekin could've just auto attacked to kill them off, he instead walked away to wait for another Q. It feels more like he was playing it as a mage, although the kit makes you play like one.

Why ever lucidity over zerks with quickblades? Think about it. Its not like with lucian where you get extra autoattacks per ability. But the faster you can attack, the lower your CD's
