The flow passive fully regenerating on teleport has always done that. It's all about displacement, or distance traveled. Any change in location adds to your passive, including flash/tp.

Basically how it works is that the dashing animation takes 0.5 to happend wich is what's left of your Q cooldown, this was probably intended since the HUD it's aware that once the dash is finished you can use your Q that's why when you use your E the hud displays the ability as out of cooldown letting you buffer it

The tp trick that refills your flow also works with other item that need to stack (shiv, ludden, etc)

Redmercy, you should try teleporting to that turret while next to it. You'll only gain a small portion on Flow. Plus, flashing also adds to your flow, as any travelled distance does, just like the hextech rocket belt, thresh's lantern, AND even Kalista's ult, together with Tahm's ult, and being ulted by an enemy Poppy.

the new advanced trick though, I've been doing it while not knowing it but not in such context. When you're trading you EQ AA then E again, the AA time window acts as the "buffer" window that you waited it out before using another E. What I'm trying to say is that, replacing the waiting buffer window with AA to maximise trade with not just save you 0.5 second and also maximising your damage output which is essential in trading. I also believe that most yasuo players are already doing it not knowing it, and for the lesser experienced player it'll be a great tip. Hope this will help some players

The refreshing passive has been there since yasuo came out. It's the reason why it goes back to full when he goes back to base, or why he gets a tiny bit of passive when he flashes(Yes, you can flash to proc passive if it's close enough to full).

This is the mechanic that I always use to help clear waves when I don't have Shiv for wave clear. This little mechanic just takes a little muscle memory and timing on the pattern. The delay in this is in between 0.5 to 1 sec. This mechanic however requires you to have max cd on Q which is 1.33. Although the first few times I did this trick, I didn't notice that I was buffering Q.

I'm pretty sure the "decrease" is there because you're supposed to be able to use your Q middash while its on CD normally so you can use your EQ right when your Q would be up normally, maybe there is a decrease in CD, but definetely not an exact 0.5 seconds because Yasuo is still traveling to max distance of his dash before doing the Q.

yo btw u can incorporate this into ur ult called a beyblade where youll dash and press q but make sure ur target is knocked up and then R and ur spinning in ur ult, giving u one free stack instantly AND transferring the Q damage

I actually knew those tricks, i discovered them in game, but the last one which isnt a really usefull mecanic. But the first one is simple to explain : when you e, if by the time u travel ur q WOULD be available, then u can cast it because at the end of ur e the cooldown from ur q will have been ended. U have to understand that this mecanic doesn't actually reduce the q's cd, it allows you to use ur q knowing that at the end of ur e ur q will be available.

also with the yasuo passive thing if u get damaged and then die 2 turret... as long as the shield blocked all the damage it still counts as a execute

Theres also a way to combo this with Tiamat / Ravenous Hydra. If you press E then Q mid dash and then Tiamat/R Hydra you cast the tiamat/Hydra before your q for some extra burst i dont use it alot but its funny to use

no, Yasuo's E really refreshes the Q cuz the E animation takes time as you Q, an example is if your E cast animation is like 0.60 that 0.60 i gon be used if your Q is below 0.60, try doing a normal Q and then dash when your Q cd is 0.60

Dashing and teleporting with any champs also stacks statikk shiv and ludens echo. So if you have a dash in your champs kit or running teleport it does charge it faster :P

hey @Redmercy what about the yasuo trick where you have tornado ready and you E Q a minon and FLASH to enemy almost instantly itll knock up enemy and cancel animation (some what like ori flash ult)

Red bro, it's because your E takes exactly .5 seconds to complete, which means you're using your Q EXACTLY as the cooldown comes up. That's GOOD, but you're using your Q at technically the same speed as usual if you just spam your Q

As a Yasuo otp. I can say that i've been using this trick for a while. But i realised doing normal Q's are a bit faster than E+Q. Because while you are traveling with your E you can't instantly cast it, you need to wait for E to finish sliding.

Red, I've seen a similar animation on my Syndra ult after using it, I think after using another ability the cooldown looks bugged where it still shows a timer but the skill looks ready to use, never tried to abuse it but might be worth checking out?

Hey Red, I think it should be noted that his Passive restore can work with things like a Tahm Ult, Ryze ult, and Thresh's lantern. Also another small trick you may want to advertise, since we are already talking about small tricks, is if you knock someone up with your Q, but aren't in range of an auto attack before ulting them, you have time to E to a minon, or just about anything, to stack your E damage right before ulting. I think it's definitely worth it for that last bit of damage you might need to finish someone off.

a minor yasuo tip not alot of people do is that u can knock them up auto e q r and u max your damage by doing this it also allows to e and q on the same target faster

the first little trick should be all known. all shields wich deny dmg while u backing saves ur hp for being hittet so u can backport easily

I hope they don't patch it, because I'm pretty sure this is key to using the airblade technique if you are EQing on the same target you knocked up

You can recharge your flow by flashing, this can save your life in some very sticky 1v1 situations, or you can get rid of ignite for example
