Foolish Mortals looks like Monkey Island 3 and Broken Sword 5 had a lovechild. And I am SO here for it, it looks so, so good. Can't wait to check that out. Also will pick up Chinatown on the Switch when it releases. Nice one!
Detective Di was a fun play. I found it quite easy, and I wish it was a bit more challenging, but the soundtrack is amazing. Overall I would recommend it. I did expect a bit more in terms of puzzles but it's alright. That game with the mother who only has a month to live has an interesting premise but I don't know how much I'd enjoy it based on that trailer..
The trailer looks waaaaay different to how the demo went. The demo was all in the diner with nice dialogue, great animations and a sense of tension. No car chases or crocodiles!
I know it's a few years old but if you thought about playing an Erica Reed thriller cognition? It's a great game and even though it's a 2016 I think would make a fun playthrough.
Really looking forward to Chinatown Detective Agency, and some of these others look neat too. Not keen on Noir Storm as a name, but the game itself looks good. I look forward to playing all these in 20 years once my point and click backlog is clear!
Detective Di was a good game, though a bit short. But it has a very nice story and the setting is quite interesting. Looking forward to the release of Chinatown Detective Agency, I enjoyed the demo. And I added Noir Storm and Foolish Mortals to my wishlist just now, those look interesting!
Norco just came out today and it's incredible so far! If Raw Fury is the publisher you know it's gonna be good lol, they published Whispers of a Machine, and norco kinda has a similar feel to that game but different.
Idk why they focus on makin every point and click game for pc still were in 2022 like come on I never sit at my laptop anymore and play games I stopped doing that ten years ago I wanna play on my phone where it’s simple and idk have to use a mouse and hold a laptop on my lap or sit at a table with it or at least a game console but then it’s more expensive I like them on my iPhone why do they make millions of point and clicks for pc instead of phone these days It’s such a downer
I have been gaming for a while on almost every platform and I also would like these kinds of games on phone. I've been wanting them for a while and would be much more preferable than the F2P cash grabs. I would recommend the Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright games that were ported to mobile. Both are fantastic. You could also emulate more Nintendo DS games which had a huge selection of great point and click games.
