How was the mother allowed to leave with him after he made these allegations to investigators? WTF?!? Typically when an adult commits a crime against someone else (child or adult), that person is usually apprehended and taken in for questioning. Her being his mom doesn't exempt her from the law. So why didn't investigators do their job?? How were they allowed to leave together?? Why??

@@princekareem smfh that's how abusers do. Get you financially dependent on them so you feel you can't leave. Which is why almost every person abused ends up staying, going back or never speaking up. And yes I agree. He should be in a domestic violence shelter before transitioning to housing and he's going to need therapy. If he didn't talk for a week he really is going through it. All that while he was already grieving the loss of his brother. It's horrible. I wonder if she was abusing the other brother as well. People who practice high risk activities like motorcycle riding usually have been through some sort of trauma. I know that's why I did.
The District Attorney NEEDS TO STEP UP immediately and press charges against the mother. If the allegation are true why did the district attorney not put the young man in protected custody?
Why would Quanell X run outside and tell everybody what Rudy supposedly had just told him? This is too intimate and could compromise the case. I would have just said “Rudy says he was not kidnapped, the investigation is still ongoing”.
Why is she still free and why would they let her leave with him after knowing what just happened? Hoping the next update we see about this isn’t something horrible…
The mom peeked out behind a curtain during Quanell’s press conference and took off with Rudy shortly after. I knew she would after he spilled all of what Rudy supposedly told him to reporters. It’ll be interesting to see what happens.

I hope the family members that are there now and didn't know any of this help this young man which I'm sure they will because they are sickened by all of this. Lock the mother up now so she can stand trial and be found guilty.
Poor man was probably being abused his whole life. And right before he becomes an adult she holds him captive. Preventing him from starting a better life 😔. I was able to get away from my abusive mom when I was 18.
The mother! I knew it was suspicious when she didn’t want his to have medical care when they found him outside the church. He was held hostage in his own home.

I find this difficult to accept that the detective hearing these allegations did not immediately place the mother into custody, even if the victim refused to file a complaint. Nah...something is missing...gotta be.
Likely a case that will be used to change guardianships between family members and their disabled children. Policy has been undergoing MASSIVE changes behind the scenes. Disabled children and adults that are not being abused are about to get destroyed by new federal regulations. None of it makes sense . Apparently the police are waiting for the D.A to file charges then they can arrest her , which doesnt make any sense . I think it is Not right,for 8 years he couldn’t escape from one woman ? He is 25 now and he knows how to drive a car, unless the entire family was holding him or somebody helping her, she had to go for work to have any money for buying drug ,we will see later to early for guessing anything until we know all details

He probably went missing at age 8 when he started to fight back or threatened to tell others about what she was doing to him all along. I'm sure he has mental health issues at this point though.
Victims always return to their abusers. His story is no different. He's been locked away and drugged his own mother since age 8. Now he has cameras and random strangers asking him questions. He is scared and running back to what he only knows. Now she's probably blaming him for getting her into trouble, knowing she lied lied police all these years. She will try to convince him to commit suicide.
@@TonyMontana-mv9ez It's not up to the police. If Rudy refuses to file charges and chooses to go home with her, that's his perogative. He's an adult and the police cannot make him do anything (file charges) nor prevent him from doing anything (leaving with her).
Each time I see something it just seems stupid. None of this makes sense. If the family cared so much why didn't they visit the mother and they would have known. It's her kid if she doesn't talk to her family her choice. I still don't understand I must be missing something missing at 17 years old. He's 25 now something strange is going on is he special needs or something? Where is the father?
