Exciting review .all the new amouages develop hour by hour to many interesting directions. I feel like I'm using 3 or 4 kinds of fragrances by one spray. I enjoy using INTERLUDE , MYTHS and SUNSHAINE in rotation

I haven't smelled many of the Amouage fragrances besides Reflection Man and Jubilation XXV, both of which I own. But I would LOVE to get my nose on this. I thought the name implied there would be a fig note. Another great video/review from the dynamic duo. Hope I win !

Awesome review from the dynamic duo. Amouage is definitely a great lineup of niche fragrances. Superb, sophisticated, quality is what comes at the top of my head. I will definitely look into Figment Man as I have not smelled it yet. My favorite Amouage is Interlude Man. The performance of Interlude Man on my skin is through the roof. I get a whopping 15 hours and then some on good days. Did Steven say he was going to do a video on spraying himself 36 times? Holy moly! That's super daring but I'm intrigued now haha.

Favorite Amouage is by far and away Jub XXV. Easily in my top 10 all time. Another great video gents.

Try figment man for one week. Spray each day and sniff every time you can. I bet after a few days you are going to love this scent. The soil and animalic putrid scent at first tries will fade and what you are left with is a full understanding of what a beautiful fragrance figment is. Greetings from the netherlands

Just tried the man's, and if anything, your review is an understatement. This is unique, exotic, incredible. But yes, maybe not for everyone. Not for the designer crowd or mass-market tastes.

I hope this is as great as your reviews! I’ve just splashed out on a bottle (men). My favourite band, The Stranglers always wear black, initially they said to keep the fans attention on the music. Now it’s just what they’re known for. Update. This is my first Amouage and I admit that the £115 Black Friday price tag from AllBeautyUK was an influencing factor. Needless to say, stunning packaging! Well, I opened and sprayed. I got the damp soil note straight away. I wanted something off the radar and it is, but boy, is this challenging and not really in a good way! For me, armed with the facts from the RU-vid Fragcom , I thought this was a safe blind buy. However, the experience is more like going into a run down area in wet, damp weather, in the dark and coming across an alley way behind poorly maintained houses. As one strolls down the very dimly lit passage, garbage and broken glass is strewn everywhere. A broken child’s bike and numerous piles of sodden clothing and discarded carpet line the edges of the walk way and seem to have absorbed the rank stench of urine and garbage. Imagine if you tripped over, face first in this place, what sort of odour would permeate your nostrils. Well, there you go. Welcome to Figment! My wife came home in the evening and didn’t comment for an hour, but as she was cooking tea (bearing in mind the olfactory overload from cooking garlic, ginger etc, she asked if I was wearing something. She says she thought that when she arrived, something smelled as if it was rotting in the corner and that I smelled like a damp carpet! I would advise that although I’m adventurous and have used Montale Aoud Noir and loads of other stuff, this migrates so far from my idea of a scent, that I cannot see the point. I blind buy and sometimes I like, sometimes it’s not to my taste, but that’s fine. This is “out of scope” in the category of wearable scents. Very disappointed, but I hope that this gives a useful perspective if looking to purchase this fragrance.

I haven't had my nose on many Amouage fragrances as of yet. I have a small sample of Interlude which I plan to find a opportunity to wear in the future. I had a sample of Reflection Man but I gave it away, cuz I don't like Le Male or any fragrance that reminds me of Le Male, which Reflection does. But I'm interested in trying more Amouage offerings for sure.

I love all the ones I tried from this house. Jubilation xxv,journey man, reflection man, Interlude man. Will love to try these new ones especially as wet soil note is my favorite.

A boutique store owner showed me Figment for Man and said it smelled like Zoologist Bat and it does! The opening is different, but the mid to dry down is very similar.

I like Amouage....wish they weren't so expensive, though. I just finished the sampler set (put out before Bracken and this one) and my favorite was Jubilation XXV. Love that juice!

I love Jubilation xxv and Interlude Man and I am glad I own a bottle of those and would love to try this one.

I discovered Amouage last year and wow, they have very unique and special frags for sure.

This one reminds me a little bit of YSL Kouros in the opening, though Kouros is powdery and not earthy like Figment Man. The similarities are striking, however, when you first spray them on. As they dry down they become very different fragrances. There is a slightly sweet woodiness that develops in Figment Man whereas Kouros, on my skin, is a fairly linear scent. Love them both. Figment Man is more complex, with higher quality ingredients that are better blended and as it dries down evolves in interesting ways that Kouros does not.
