So basically dont play this game because it requires a second job in order to do stuff, and its a toxic environment where you cant enjoy the great parts of the game because no one wants to help you. Got it.
Sound like someone didn't even bother to find learning raid or even researching on how to do raid properly. You can't just go into a raid without even learning the mechanic beforehand or how the game party finding work.

Absolutely amazing video. Took the overwhelming feel I had returning to the game away completely. I left after taking down Valtan on my Eso Striker and plan on coming back to main an RS Soulfist, which was actually the first character I ever made.
Best advive for returning players is that if they not that far into the game, wait for a boosting event the amount of boost that event gives, there is no reason to start playing LA without an boosting event
I stopped playing a while ago after I hit something like 1360 power. I came back a couple days ago with the boost event currently going on and hit 1540 with almost no effort. Totally agree with you.
They need to copy FF14s dungeon daily where it’s a random abyssal dungeon each day and you get oreha fusion stones or some kind of honing mats that make it worth it that way newer players get a chance to try the older stuff and pop there cherry in other words with abyssal dungeons cuz in most mmos the older content is usually easier and better for learning then the current content which has more mechs
This is an important guide for me as I leveled my artillerist to 1415 via the story express event. So basically all my gear was handed to me. Then the super Mokoko express event set up my engravings and gems for me, so I had very little idea of what I was supposed to be doing outside of running chaos dungeons and learning the honing system.

Returning player since just Brel release here, lot to digest. I used the super mokoko event on and old Lopang island slave Surge Deathblade and its fun but kinda regret it as I want to try breaker now that I watched its effects and gameplay 💀 Have few chars 1475-1500 getting used to the new bus prices as was impossible for me to find a prog/learning party for normal Brel Also seriously thinking on buying a Voldis powerpass for a Breaker and replace my scrapper (6th gold earner) as it jumps me right to 1520, set lvl 2 and clears all quests. Down side is that questing grants good exp that I might need on a fresh lvl 50 character. Thanks for your content, been watching manybof your videos lately
So i tried returning, came back around a week ago(very late for mokoko) was at 1390 had not played since launch, got all the way up to 1555 with the help of a guild. that being said when the guild is not around to carry me, the gatekeeping in lost ark just killed all will I had to progress. This is one horrible community, unwilling to help if it wasnt for my friend in the guild i'd of never got past 1490(because the legion raids needed to run to get gear was gatekept) Lost ark isnt a game one can simply return to and reach endgame... unless you swipe for carrys or swipe for mats... sad cuz the core of the game is good, but the game is ruined by the community and the whole 'gatekeeping' mentality.

Returned after 1-1.5 year break and had one char to 1475 and all others at 1450 and the devs did absolutely nothing as far as catch up goes. Still abysmal honing percentages stacked with zero queues for content I’m at. There’s barely any runs going for Clown. As far as my server is concerned, the game is dead and left behind in this area. Left with no choice but to uninstall and wait until there’s an appropriate catch up instated.
imma newbie player and i think story and lore in LA is incredible. LA is totally not a newbie friendly but as recent new player, im starting to get a hang of it. i found out quickly that veteran players doesnt like to play with newbies on raids, etc although telling them i watched guide on legion raid many times. hope smilegate brings solo legion raid and keep the global server alive and dont kill it like how they did to japanese server....
This sounds like a terrible experience. Why would you skip some of the most enjoyable experiences in the game t2-3 abysses, argos etc. to skip to endgame to do the same 5 things over and over?
If I wanted to use Elgacia power pass when there isn't an event going on, how do I go about getting stone/accessories for engravings? Would swiping for gold and just buying from the market be the best approach? Or just spamming chaos dungeons until I have a decent build?
If you have tons of pheons, you can buy stones cuz it's pretty easy to cut at least a 7/7, 7/6 or even a 7/5 just to get something functional going. Stones are pretty cheap thankfully. Accessories are a whole different ball game though. You can get lucky with drops but 99.999% of the time you are going to have to buy them. The economy is in a state currently that the difference between a 50%-80% quality accessory and a 90%+ one can be 5000 gold versus 50000. If you go cheap to at least get a functional build, you can get it done fairly cheap. However, if you are going to replace with higher quality down the road, you have lost all of your initial investment; both with gold as well as the pheons. Comes down to how fast you want it done. Back when I did it, i went cheap on relic rarity stuff to have a functional character, and saved gold for high quality ones when it was time to upgrade to ancient accessories. I don't consider that a loss of investment at all because I would have had to upgrade to ancient eventually anyway. Do not pay for high quality relic pieces. But tldr, if you do not have multiple gold earners, you're probably going to have to swipe a little. If you do, save up for the $99 royal crystal bundle cuz that 20% extra is the real deal.

Yes they do! Just do the main story until you get to the first town. Go into the church then it will play a cutscene and after that cutscene, leave the church and u will get the power pass in the mail.
No one does Valtan or Vykas Normal level these days been trying to find match but to no luck🤕. What you said worked till 1445 but after that the Legion Raids no luck for me to find any matching in thamine.
The problem I'm having is unlocking a map area can not progress cause I guess didn't finish a task (side quest?) The colrs are confusing too...argghhh...🤨...and crafting is so much grinding...😢😢😢
No you want to run through islands and play the game. There is nothing to do at endgame it’s the same few raids/fight and they really aren’t even a raid it’s a boss fight broken into gates. All the events and sailing are what make the game good
is there a guide for PVP? I dont mind pvm but I'm really pvp player at heart but not really sure what to aim for or start. Currently im at 1490 using express and i cant get in to Brels
Sadly I’m not a PVP player. As for getting into brels, I’d recommend checking out the LFG section on Lost Ark Nexus and joining one of those discords. They can help a lot with finding groups.
friend finished the main story and did chaos dungeons and guardian raids but he is still stuck at gear score 650 or so and ran out of leapstones.. anyone know what hes missing?
Unfortunately he either needs to wait until the next day to do more chaos dungeons or buy materials from the auction house. Lost Ark is a bit of a time gated game unless you buy materials to push characters.
@@nooooooooo432 If you are talking about vertical progression (materials and item levels), it is not worth it but if you think its fun and you care about horizontal progression (Island Souls), then you should do them. It's not like you don't get anything - you get roster level and the various rewards from item souls, but the materials that they give don't really make a difference anymore for honing.
