Homesteading on 18 acres of wooded land in Northern Wisconsin. We make high rise pancakes and chaga tea (recipe below) and use our homemade maple syrup before heading out for a full day of homesteading off-the-grid. We haul wood up to burn in our indoor woodstove - this may or may not be the last wood haul of the year as spring is here, we'll see though as snow and cold weather is in the forecast for the foreseeable future. We start our 2nd batch of garden plants in the greenhouse, change oil in our fourwheeler and generator, and do trail maintenance on our wooded fourwheeler trails. We live without running water so we do a fair amount of hand pumping on the homestead every week. Our biggest news around the homestead this week is we finally get our new basset hound! Hopefully he'll do good protecting our free range chickens! So happy to welcome Ole to our lives! Thank you so much for watching! -Shane and Lindsey Krumrie
