The fact that Annihilape has one of the best offensive typings and also one of the best flexible moveset as well is just absolutely good. The only move it is good for fast move is Counter but if it ever has something like Shadow Claw there is nothing safe against a dual flexibility pokemon for easy swapping. As for charge moves Close Combat / Shadow Ball / Ice Punch / Night Slash are all just very great to have. You have two nukes + 2 cheaper moves which are good with Ice and Dark as good coverage options. Such a great pokemon we needed

Annihilape is Annihilating the meta

All my Primeape were primed (CP-wise) for Great League - so I don't have one that can evolve into Annihilape at 1500 CP, and those that i have that could be powered up to 2500 for Ultra League are FAR from that target when evolved to Annihilape. I do have a super old one that I caught before Go Battle League was even a thing that has super-high CP, but when evolved to Annihilape (which evolves at about a 1.55 ratio from Primeape) it is over 2500 level CP (at about 2900). So, I will be hunting Mankey as it is available.
