For crying out loud girl, you have been growing up so so much since I ran into your amazing channel, and now it is a dream come true, you are living your dream to learn and boost your speaking. I'm hella overjoyed for you, Shea. The great feeling from Colombia.
I enjoyed watching your video about your life in Bologna. I live in Italy but I have never been to Bologna, hope to visit soon! Good luck with the apartment search!😊
I just arrived in Bologna (from Texas)and came accross your channel as I was looking for things to do here 😀. Attending a watercolor conference. Best of luck to you
I feel like you will always feel a little homesick when you move to a country/place you’ve never been to but I’m happy you’re not as homesick as you thought you’d be. I’m excited to see you get a permanent apartment and explore more of what Italy has to offer 💛
Loved this video. Thanks for sharing. It was a great watch. I've just started a video series on my channel as I prepare to run an ultra-marathon in September. You content is really good motivation for making more videos. Keep the great content coming. Looking forward to see the next one
@@SheaJordan Congrats! Any hope of an Italian channel that does cooking videos or cleaning/decluttering motivation? Trying to find one for listening practice.:)
How much of a difference is rent between living in Italy & LA? Because ppl are always saying how incredibly expensive LA is but an apartment in Italy is around 600-800 euros? Thats surprisingly cheap
It depends what city you’re in. Bigger cities like Rome, Florence, and Milan can be very expensive, like easily over 1000 euros a month which is very difficult considering wages are typically pretty low in Italy. Bologna is also very high and housing is so difficult to find here. I would say if you want your own apartment it’s at least 1000 euros a month here and utilities can be very expensive as well. However LA is still more expensive. I basically pay the same for an entire apartment here in Italy as I did for a room in an apartment in Los Angeles that I shared with people. But if you choose to share an apartment here in Bologna with other people, you could pay anywhere from 300-700 euros for the room.
Hi, I currently still live in Bologna so I don't like to share where I live for privacy/security reasons. But pretty much anywhere in the center of Bologna is wonderful!
So I have income from my social media content creation from RU-vid, my digital products, Pinterest, etc. and then I also work freelance for my old job. So for example right now I'm working on a project for them for 3 weeks, 10 hours a week! Even though I'm not making quite as much as when I had my full-time job, there's still income and I saved a LOT because I knew I wanted to go to Italy for a while. :)
