I got locked out of my house accidentally and left my phone on a chair in the front room at my house. I have a Apple Watch 7 and I was able to get close enough through the window to send a text via my watch to my wife to find out where she had hidden a key outside. Pretty cool.

I do all the grocery shopping and I push the basket with my left hand at Costco and the grocery store. I’m going to try the stroller steps app and see if I can get credit for my missed steps.

I’ll try resetting both your watch and your iPhone. If it still doesn’t work try contacting your carrier or Apple.

Something similar happened to me. I activated the cellular plan and put my phone in airplane mode to see if I could call directly from my ultra 2. It wouldn't let me. Turns out I have to disable both the Bluetooth and wifi connection to make the call. Otherwise the apple watch would connect to the iphone and only use its service which wasn't possible because the airplane mode was activated. i would suggest you try to send messages outside home to see if that was the deal with that. Just an idea

For some reason on my Apple Watch Ultra 2 it doesn’t show the compass. It has legal stamped across the maps. Any idea on how to fix i? Thank you
