New Arccaptain MIG 130 Flux core Welder- Awesome DIY Welding Unit 

The polarity is reversed with flux core. I got one of these off Amazone yesterday. With coupon ir was $106. I haven't used it yet but did load the wire and played with the controls to get familiar with it. I did have a 140 amp back in the 90's. Man they've come a long ways. If I get welds like you got, I guess I will? I'll be thoroughly impressed. I really like that you can stick welg with it too.

ordered off amazon today with $!5 coupon... OTD for $125! have my FIL's old Lincoln (ac-225 model) buzz box and love it, really have enjoyed leaning how to "farmer weld." most fabricators and welders say mig is easier vs stick, but i wanna continue honing my stick welds. got this new model for a cat delete on my SXS. stick welding id polly put more than one hole in the exhaust 🤣 thumbs up on the video!

Just bought one Tuesday from Amazon. SITLL waiting for it to be delivered. It's coming its just taking forever. Can't wait im 61 and haven't welded anything since high-school shop. Just wanted to fix stuff around the house and was deciding between this or the titanium. I picked the Arccaptain because of the more options. 😊

Great video. I would like to get a hold of one of these to do a comparison video on my channel with my Harbor Freight Titanium Easy-Flux125. The Arccaptain appears to be better built with a great latch assembly and a handle. Throw in the fact that the Arccaptian also does stick welding and it's a no-brainer. I subscribed to your channel! I also have a Everlast iMig 200 that does Mig and stick. I think everyone needs a flux core welder for the occasion when you need to weld outside where any breeze will blow away the shielding gas. I love seeing these videos from the smaller hobbyist style channels.

You gotta get some anti splatter and nozzle gel. The Arccaptain 200 6 in 1 is an awesome welder

Not a bad weld from that,Almost 30 years of mig and i still haven't tried flux core.

I just bought one . Just for around the house stuff. I might try to build a hand truck with tall wheels . Harbor freight use to sell them but stopped so I thought I'd make my own. Did you make that table.

Get notebooks and just make your good settings when you find those sweet spots, and you running smoothly, and when you switch wire sizes, and different metal thickness, u can go to your notes, and your up and going. Ky

Is there much difference between fluxcore and stick welding.

I wish they would call it a flux core machine not a MIG machine.

the setting you used for wire speed is not wire speed, it is wire size. the wire they send with the unit is .30. That is the auto speed setting.

What size breaker were you running on it?

Hello got a question still working and these machine can i use a 6011 rod stick?

Are you still using it.

What size fc wire did you use .030 or .035 ? and what thickness was the metal you were welding thanks

If you watch a bunch of video's on Flux Core Welding you'll see exactly why your supposed to put the Welding lead on the negative side and ground clamp on positive side , that's Flux Core Welding. I wonder why people don't look stuff up before using , I watch tons of video's before I buy anything and look to see how it works and check reviews
