Kev!! Glad you got to enjoy the north side, I went up hoping they would open on Monday but alas, no luck. Looks like there is some snow in the forecast, I will keep an eye out for the SPC crew!

hey kevin, I was up at Revelstoke a couple of days ago and if you have your splitboard I would suggest to take a hike to Montana Bowl. All you have to do is take the stoke chair turn right and traverse as far as you can and then start skinning until you reach the bowl. It is a really nice line with amazing terrain and snow

Kevin, I wish I could have shown you the secret zones in the areas to went to in Revy. If my back want't broken I would have been skiing Revy that day. I'm glad you had an awesome stay. Seems a bit short, I hope you can get some backcountry in at Revy before you leave. It's epic there.

Hey Kevin, another great video. I'm in New Zealand enjoying summer. My Canadian girlfriend and I brought a property in Nelson BC, just out from Whitewater ski hill, you said there was little snow in BC, do you think you could make the trip to Nelson its snowing all the time there at the moment. Film a vid so I can see whitewater from your eyes. I've never even been to Nelson 🤣🤣

This is my first season snowboarding, so I’m pretty new. With that being said, I noticed you wear your beanie and goggles under the helmet. Is there a reason for that other than keeping warm? Or does it just depend on the helmet where some are designed to have your goggles under the helmet?
@Brose_Canseco
@Brose_Canseco 2 года назад
It’s preference. Mostly it’s just cosmetic. I go back and forth but find the traditional way is more comfortable, as you don’t have to wear much under and the goggles fit perfect. Helmet on top of a beanie and head mask can start feeling extremely bulky and uncomfortable sometimes throughout the day. Depends on the size of your melon too lol
@2988jake
@2988jake 2 года назад
@@Brose_Canseco after poking around on Reddit it’s seems that the general consensus is that you should not wear a beanie under your helmet. If you can fit a beanie under your helmet, the helmet is too big for you, and not having a properly fitting helmet makes it less effective.

Is Revelstoke more of an expert focused mountain? I have some friends who want to go but as I am a beginner-intermediate skiier, I think Silverstar will do the job as its local to me. Thoughts?
@helootome12
@helootome12 2 года назад
it has some really good green, blue runs just be warned it will take you a loooong time to get down lol as they wine down the mountain lol lots of rest breaks are needed
@Shred1904
@Shred1904 2 года назад
Revelstoke does have more for the intermediate to advance riders vs beginners. Though they did open a new chair (Stellar) for beginners (albeit a short run)

Revelstoke has it all, maybe less green runs, but I usually stay on the backside of the mountain and it's always a fun day.
