4:25 I sadly have to correct you there since the chaotic weapons were always special with these double affinities.. so yes while you do get the 10% affinity if you clear the frenzy state you also get the -20% as positive 20% on top of the 10% you have plus another 20/25% depending on bloodlust level (level 2 and 3 give 25% and lvl 1 gives 20%) so yeah you can pretty much get a 100% crit element set without the need for WEX or other crit boosting skills like maximum might :)

For the other 7 Lance mains in existence, I want to share my build that makes use of the Scorned Magna Lance along with Powder Mantle and Intrepid Heart for a fun and explosive outcome. I tested it in some afflicted hunts and against the Risen elders, and it really slaps hard. I went with the Risen Teo Head, Chest and Belt and the Flaming Espinas Gloves and Boots to max out the aforementioned skills, and a talisman that allows me to max Crit Eye (if you have one that gives Attack Boost that's also pretty great, but not as essential as Crit Eye), and then you should use either Qurio Crafting or jewels to max out Master's Touch and Razor Sharp (reason for that is that Magna Lance doesn't have the biggest purple bar, but if you put a nice Handicraft 4 Jewel on it you can extend it significatively and never worry about it again) The rest of the skills you can put through decos or Qurio Crafting are up to your preferences, but I strongly recommend Offensive Guard and Wirebug Whisperer, even Guard if you're not into insta-blocking. The reason I picked Lance for this build is that, along with Longsword, is the weapon that takes the second least amount of hits to trigger the powder with a ridiculous 13 hits requirement (first one is Greatsword with 6), which are a joke if you play Lance aggressively. With some well placed guard dashes and leaping thrusts you can dance around the monster without being hit and making the powder proc, and when the blue powder kicks in you get some sick numbers with just a single poke before refreshing the effect consistently as long as you play aggressively. And in case something goes wrong and you get hit, the Intrepid Heart kicks in and saves you from damage while at the same time blasting the monster with its own explosion (and the orange powder one, if it happens when it's charging). I hope people will give this build a try, it's really fun and has plenty of room for comfy and dmg skills since its core skills are already maxed out.

Just made a Spread 2 Rapid Fire set with Chaotic Gore LBG and its fantastic, it has enough natural recoil to have Critical Firepower and have Low Recoil at level 3, and with its affinity mechanic + one level of Bloodlust you just need to have Weakness Exploit to get 100%, the legs from its armor are a good replacement for the usual Shagaru legs if you have a good talisman since it has a Lv3 slot, one level of Bloodlust and the 3 levels of Coalescence

Strife works like resentment gives 20 elemental and 10% affinity on a slither of red. Once it goes to half health it jumps up another 10 affinity and 5 element. Pair with dereliction for the most element. Best for elemental charge blades

I made a 100% Affinity with the Chaotic LBG. My skills are Wex 3, Crit Boost. 3, Maximum Might 3, Agitator 5. For new armor piece I’m using Chaotic Greaves which grants me 1 lvl of Bloodlust and Coalescence 3. Rampage deco: Kushala Palico Affinity buff skill. Ammunition: RapidFire Normal 2, Pierce 2 and Spread 2

now you can roll good skill too i see 1 guy have kushao blessing (not deco) in sco magna armo so i think it will have more skill to roll now

With how fast that red bar drains it just doesn't seem all that beneficial because you're just chugging drinks. Then as we saw if you get grabbed you're dead.
