be glad to see some of your prep fitness vids to get ready for when you do test for real. What endurance activity do you like to do? I do running/jogging/power-walking (ie 5k, 10k, 13.1) for Sing a song or a long bible verse (ie Psalm 118) to yourself to make the 3 minutes go fast. Get all of your points - won't you be turning in your promotion packet by the 6 mth mark ? Hopefully you are doing well on those correspondence/online courses - get those "max" where you can !!!
I’m so happy they replaced the leg tuck with the plank. The leg tuck felt like an impossible goal for me. I can plank til the cows come home but can’t do ONE leg tuck or pull up.
That’s good the changes will be of benefit to you 😅 I still feel like work on your upper body strength so you can attain it for yourself now without the pressure of the Army.
To me the only problem I had with the apft were the run times for the males. It wasn’t no break until you get into your 30’s to be able to run a 17 min 2 mile and for some people depending on their heath and other things that still wasn’t easy.
When they started talking about the acft, I honestly didn’t think I’d still be in to see the official change 🤷🏿♂️. Can’t put all the blame on females, cause I also seen males have problems with doing 1 leg tuck and both were also complaining about the plank and all of sudden now they happy about this 🤦🏿♂️. Overall I think the acft is still super easy, come apr on the diagnostic they still only getting the minimum then in Oct for the record one, I’ll give a little more but not to much cause I ain’t chasing promotion points no more
