I loved how Riley came in, interviewed the ladies and choose what was best for him. That was too corporately funny.

I do NOT stand for bullying. It was not okay when the girls on Matt's season did it, and it's not okay when Aaron and the Plastics do it. Thomas may be a little smarmy and put his foot in his mouth a lot, but he does not deserve to be treated like trash, to be called a psycopath, to be bad mouthed constantly, etc. As someone who was bullied growing up, it made me almost cry to watch how awful these guys were. I really hope they're held accountable for their actions. Just because the show wants to gaslight us into thinking Thomas is the villain, it does not mean we're going to fall for it. The true villain of Katie's season and Paradise is aggro Aaron and his sycophants.

Why do they think we care more about drama then seeing actual connections? It pissed me off how we saw more of people’s reaction to Thomas’s date then the actual date.

Honestly feeling very sympathetic towards Thomas. The guys this season keep turning everyone against him before he even gets a real shot at love. He seems like he’s trying his best and some of the guys are taking every little thing they can get from him and running with it. I did like though that a couple of people like Joe and Kenny were willing to give him a shot and meet him before coming to conclusions

The fact that Riley and Marisa's date ended in the boom boom room, is actually surprising to me. I've seen ever season of Paradise and I don't think they ever showed someone arrive in paradise and literally have sex the same day. PS I know they only knew eachother for a couple days, but when Marisa walked out in her date dress and walked right by Connor without acknowledging him was pretty cold blooded. We saw Serena P go over and talk to Joe before her date with Thomas, seems like the courteous thing to do.

Why didn't Serena repeat the nice things that Thomas said about him. He only said he wasn't strong emotionally but he said he was a great guy. Serena was very messy for tatling.

During last season, I hated Aaron a lot more than I disliked Thomas. Yeah he’s attractive but it really doesn’t matter since I think he has a vendetta against every person he has met in his entire life.

I honestly think this is going to be the best season of paradise yet. I love how diverse the cast is, I love that there are already so many relationships and that they are kind of giving everyone screen time so far instead of last season where near everything was about Blake.

Am I the only one that doesn’t get the appeal of Serena? I mean, she’s cute but like…not much more than that. Her personality doesn’t really pop for me. Could be them editing out all of her personality but even for Matt’s season I wasn’t seeing it. Also, I don’t think Thomas misstepped at all. He confided in Serena and she went and told everyone else he wouldn’t stop talking about a thing that SHE literally asked him about. You ask me a question and I’m gonna answer it. Hopefully we finally get to see someone on Thomas’ side when Becca arrives and tells them all they’re acting like kids.

There is just something special about Riley that I have always seen and loved. He’s sweet, kind, genuine, sensitive, loving, mature, as well as just a gorgeous human. He has a good heart and is ready to find his person, I can tell. I love seeing the kind of connections him and Maurissa seem to have in paradise, it makes watching this crazy franchise worth it.

Thomas does have some red flags, but I also sort of feel like I might understand him? I'm neurodivergent and have trouble with everyday social interactions sometimes, and I can see a lot of my masking behaviors reflected in him. I don't want to go around diagnosing people and that definitely isn't what this is, but it's just really interesting to me to see how similar we are in some respects. Like, for instance, I have to plan out the conversations that I have (not to the letter, but like, a general framework for what's normal and expected), and his interactions strike me as really similar to my own. Of course, it could seem that way because he's calculated, but I feel like he just isn't that good at conversating with people and tries to keep everything he says structured and planned out so that he can control everything and not make a fool of himself, while also seeming friendly and approachable (at least, in his mind). It could be why he seems somewhat stiff, and might also explain the rambling, which could be a side effect of him losing sight of that reference point for "normal" behavior. And, weirdly enough, the height thing reminds me of something I do as well, which is to kind of latch onto a certain point of conversation that I know "works" and gets a generally favorable response from other people and keep using it. So like, for me, if the weather is particularly hot, I'll mention that to fill a lull in the conversation, and I just keep doing it (which doesn't always work out that great lol). For Thomas, his safety point is his height. Again, not trying to diagnose him. Just interested.

I love how open Maurissa is about her struggles with her weight and how even though she might look great on the outside and be happy with the number on the scale, she is still honest about how it continues to affect her relationships. It’s really nice to see a contestant being real and genuinely opening up especially as on this show there has to be immense pressure to look good and I appreciate her not trying to present an idealized and stylized version of herself.
