Really liking this esc plate! Wish it was out before I hacked up & modified a stock 6s esc holder I had laying around. This looks a LOT cleaner. So I guess I'll be placing another GarageLife order soon... My Kevlar battery straps just arrived today!
Yeah I can't say next level enough after making the video we done another revision so any esc including castle can be mounted using 2 sided tape and a zip tie we put a grove for the zip tie to rest in on the top plate similar to the bottom plate making room for the ridges
Hi Mike, I think you say wrong in the title, the esc tray is for long chassis, like k4 and Mojave…almost all cars in the series 3/4 have the esc on the receiver box on top
correct but all of the 3s besides the SWB GRANITE and VORTEK you are able to move it from the receiver box down to the chassis the OUTCAST 4s is also not long enough so a total of 3 models this will not work feel free to check it out yourself but you will find im telling the truth my 3s infarction esc is there now and every 3s bigrock typhon ive owned i always have moved them down there
I think I had my blx185 esc mounted on the chassis with my Outcast 4s, but was using a stock length motor. Truly didn't remember anymore, I'm getting old lol
@@VDVC-RC yeah I have the stock size motor in my outcast 4s v2.5 which is even longer then the v1 chassis shared with the granite and vortek no way it fits down there lol I guess I could've put a picture up in the video to show that
I'm going to say yes I know that chris with a C just got some garagelife rc products unfortunately I'd say shipping isn't the cheapest but you can always email them to find out exactly how to order yours Like I said in the video once you have your hands on this part you will see and feel the quality A lot went into this design it was edited multiple times and even again after recording this video we was able to incorporate a way to install castle esc or any other esc that doesn't have mounting holes like hobbywing or spektrum... And the way it lays in the bottom of the chassis hugging those 4 ridges this thing isn't going anywhere
