Hard to pick just one. You sir are a blessed to play with both. Myself I prefer the look of the outcast. This should help people pick the one that fits their style. Great review showing the strengths of each rig. Sh*t news about the radio gear and I think that wore would bother the hell outta me also. Awesome bash session.
Mr. Earl so I ended up buying both of these at my L.H.S. an my 11yr old Step son picked the blue outcast which I wanted the Teal Kraton. we had so much fun in our backyard. Thanks for the inspiration!
I love my Outcast 4s V2. May be my favorite truck currently. Even setting the throttle down on the transmitter it would be a bit too squirrely for my wife. Looks like I may need to add the Kreaton 4s into my collection for her to use to get used to running rcs. I am surprised how much I seem to enjoy my Outcast 4s over my XRT. I
Well I was convinced to get a 4s v2 from rc guy garage, but I wanted to see the kraton in action, because that was the specific one that I wanted, so again I thank you for going that extra mile and showing us both, ran one after the other , I think even though not as nimble out of the box, the kraton will be my choice, I can always mod it if I want more air control, but pretty happy with what I see.
I like the Kraton more myself. Actually all scales I’m for the Kraton. I just like that longer wheelbase. I feel it gives better control and handling in my opinion. But they’re both really good. You can’t go wrong with either one. Good vid Earl
@@davidstaley9646 no there not. Look up the chassis for each 4s. The new v2 kraton has a new (xlwb) extra long wheel base chassis and the v2 outcast has a (mwb) medium wheel base chassis. And the 6s Line are different length also.
@@mikellewis2346 he’s only running two 4s the Kraton is longer than the outcast but width wise yes they are the same I own a outcast v2 a Kraton 4s and 6s v2 so I’m what I am talking aboutn

Straight to the point. Good review of these two trucks. This video just helped me make my final decision, Which is not going with the outcast. Looks like a really fun truck still! Turns out not what I'm looking for. Thanks for this solid review tho!😎🤙

@@earlmoorhead5555 yessir, i didn't waste my time with them. the Arrma-Spektrum versions of the Granite/Typhon BLX and MEGA came with those POSes same dang issue. although, in GUY'S case, i thought it was just user error. 😂
always cool watching your bash videos E..... I'm surprised that because you seem to have some great locations to run that you don't bring a weed wacker with you to manicure the landscape ...... then you can clear out all those weeds and high grass that have the nerve to grow where you like to run your RCs...... just a thought ,...... thanks for sharing.....

Geeze Earl …,, I even have a batter operated air compressor that I take out bashing to blow the junk off the RCs before I put them in the car …. If you can get an 8S EXB go for it. I absolutely love mine. Handles sooo good off road and on road as well. 23 battery packs through it and no issues yet. I go for more long jumps than super high ones but still, I don’t baby it.
Yeah great video Earl. I Definitely love both of them. If I were to get one probably go with thr kraton since I already have 2 outcast. 6S ans 8S. 6S version does handle very Similar to the 4S. 👍
I don't think I have an opinion on which one is "better" for me, but I think the Outcast body is amazing and beats the Kraton hands down. I like the blue one, but you got the wrong one - the bronze version is gorgeous! 😉
Quick question sir I have a 3s infraction and I notice that my big rock is literally the same chassi I was wondering if the v1 outcast is the same chase for I can convert my infraction to a outcast by buying the parts is cheaper them buying the whole car lol
Actually buying the complete rc become cheaper as I showed on my vendetta crash the party to replace the front end damage was 230.00 and for 300.00 I replaced the rc and got complete electronics that worth way more as spares but yes you can convert the rc to the outcast as the v1 3s and 4s platform are the same ⚠️💯

I prefer the outcast because I have the 8s outcast . But I am really liking the kraton more . It's a tough choice but I believe I would get the Outcast first then I would get the Kraton .The kraton would be my basher & the outcast my show-off truck 😆 Tough choice but having both if possible would be the best choice .

Yes amain has them available arrma been dropping rc faster then normal as they keep bringing them back as different versions with minor changes to get the sales up
