Honestly, videos like this make all the hard work worth it. Lovin the excitement, smiles and fun. Yesterday, I was watching people moan about a vehicle they’d never seen let alone driven. I was sad that ppl do that. Today I’m happy. 👍🏻👍🏻
Jason, I have silently waited and waited for an Arrma 16 or 14 scale MT. I have been waiting patiently thinking to myself, "Arrma may never do that, it's not their thing." Well, with the Fire Team you guys have surprised us all and now people are requesting a 3s version of it which I believe to be a great idea but since I am told you had a part in creating the Savage xs I would LOVE A SMALL SCALE MT!!! Btw, I am still in love with my 3s Typhon after more than 3 years. It is crazy on road with the 6s Kitar's run down to slicks.
It's actually the modge podge of parts with the same spektrum internals *specifically the ESC* is what we have an issue with. It's not by any means the new vehicle. Guys have been asking for the updated 4S line & EXB ROLLERS for almost two years now but then a 3S Vendetta and this thing shows up outta nowhere. For guys like me Arrma built its reputation on listening to the consumer & giving customers exactly what they asked for. After further inspection this ain't it. Yeah, it's new & different I'll agree. Definitely looks nice in these so-called giveaway videos put out there just to boost pre-orders but time will actually tell this trucks worth when the regular customers get their hands on one & actually get out & start bashing it 👌🏽*good luck with the sales pitch* 🤞🏽
Don't worry about the internet trolls hating. They've been doing it for every RC car release from every brand. In short, they just have to express being upset because they either can't afford it or it's not the specific RC car they personally wanted. They will get over it. Keep doing yall's thing, ignore the haters and build up the supporters!
Like I said in the forum the day, it’s good we have parts that are interchangeable, even to the point people have made there own model form different models. Those who want a new esc or motor need to remember what a silver can was back in the day and that hasn’t changed in 40 years due to reliability. This who want a different power system get the exb models, that could be one of the changes that is made that all exb models come without electrics ?
Seeing this comment makes me very happy with the RC path I've chosen lol. Could've got a Traxxas 2 years ago.... Went with a granite. Modded it into an outcast.... I digress..... It's awesome seeing the man the myth the legend adding comments here and there
As is your usual ..... Your take on the FireTeam is spot on ..... sometimes people in he hobby want EVERY RC to do air stunts.... Being fair ... that's cool . but I'm one of those people who enjoy what I personally call Terrain Bashing ..... Just running the rig under throttle and driving the RC as fast `as the terrain allows you to without wiping out..... My Mojave s quite a handful at higher speeds so after watching you run the Fire Team .....with it wide stance.... and he way it performs under throttle .......I'm definitely gonna put theFireTeam on my next to get radar......thank you for what you bring to our hobby.............
Awesome overview and impressions with this new FT 1/7 😍. Definitely the funnest RTR I've ever ran. Handles Killer right out of the box. It corrects nicely on the ground and in the air, especially with a little more pinion and advanced punch setting. So stoked to hear your excitement rippin this sucker around!!!! Wish I had your backyard 😱. Great stuff right here. 🍻😎💪👊👊
To actually quote Rich "defiantly a drivers car" and "Quite frankly the stock stamped chassis and the plastic chassis braces, they're really just not designed to be doing 20 and 30 foot airs" It's not designed for that. Everyone knows it.
Man, that rig looks so planted! Glad to see you do a review on it, as I would not think this would be a basher, more of a tear around RC!!! Great Video!!!!!
I love the way you talk and care about your rc's. This new fireteam looks awesome. I just brought a 6s outcast exb, so this may have to wait a while. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing. John
Doesn’t seem that great tbh. I agree it’s best-looking Arrma, but I’m looking for more from an RC car than just being fun to drive on the ground, especially in an off-road model.
I bought this truck when it was on sale to use as a parts vehicle drove it one time and loved it. I thought the body was to big and heavy but it keeps it planted like a Mojave but wider. awesome truck definitely not parting it out
I couldn't help but buy one on this HH Black Friday sale at $399 !!! Really like your vids as you can tell by your excitement level in your voice when you do like the vehicle , and are doing ground / driving bashing rather than sending them to the moon !!! You mentioned you never drove a Mojave , love to see what you think of those !!!
You make great videos. I always enjoy them. The Stockbridge Hobby Shop or Arrma better give you that RC, You deserve it. Your video is going to sell a lot of cars!!
Love the review and footage! Definitely need to grab an Arrma Fireteam! Was seriously looking at a Losi DBXL 2.0 until I saw this thing, would still love a DBXL 2.0 but love the overall versatility of the Arrma Fireteam and the design is killer!
The DBXLE 2.0 is a sight to behold when it’s blitzing but this is honestly more practical. My Dibbie is running a Castle XLX2 + 1100KV combo but I don’t run it often because it’s so heavy to move around.
Bigger jump that will level out fine there doing backflips no problem from what I seen from rich duper bash and rc dude they take a beating. Great review 👍
This is the first Arrma I’ve seen and thought I’ve gotta have this thing. I wish they had went with a cage buggy like a super rock Rey but nonetheless I like it as is.
That is a very nice vehicle, one of Arrma's best. And for it's performance, it's at a price point that is not over the top. I really hope The Hobby Shop in Stockbridge Georgia lets you buy that one for cost. I'm sure they will make a lot of money selling the Arrma Fireteam from your video. Good job! Now I want one.
@@outsourcedrc I'm sure Glen reads your comments. You're like an employee, so you should get a an employee discount. The car is already used now, so he would get he's money back. Come on Glenn, sell him that car at cost. Thanks Glen! With that now asked, if I owned that Hobby Shore, and you advertised that for me, that car would be yours for free.
@@outsourcedrc Fact is, if you mentioned my Hobby Store in your videos, I would absolutely consider you an employee, and everything you ever want would be at cost!
I've watched just about every youtube review video for this RC and yours is the best bro. You nailed it! Even the price, so many people are moaning about the price but you perspective was spot on IMO. Thanks 👍👍
It's great to see a review that is truly honest. You didn't just get a free RC in the mail and feel obligated to talk it up to get more for free. Great Job! Love the review and your thoughts of this rig.
It seems to handle like an E-Revo in the sense that it holds it's line. Not sure why this would take the place of that though, given it's also fun on the jumps.
Cheers pal, I was a bit down hearted when I first saw this truck. I was going to purchase a Typhon but wanted something larger. So when I heard this was coming I saved the money. I'll have to wait to see it in person. Maybe then I'll be able to choose which one to get. Thanks for all your videos pal, I trust your honest opinion. . . .keep it up 👍👍👍
That's gonna make such an awesome spot for a track when you get it done. Good video! Can we buy just the handbrake option and put it on the v5 kraton? Does anyone know? And does it mount right in or do u have to drill the chassis?
Arrma has very good engineers and designers. And they have budget to be strongest and fastest among others in the same class and cost. Arrma still wins.
The vendetta and now this! Arrma is killing it so far. Getting to the point to where I wanna save my money and get one but I’m afraid their line up keeps impressing me so I must wait to make my choice.
@@fartdonkey8290 How you like it? I'd have to say its my favorite off-road basher right now. I just wish there were some other bodies out there for it so I didnt have to bang up the nice one that comes with it.
Mojave length with the Kraton width... how could you go wrong? Due to it's overall size & weight I can only imagine it on 8S. But with that being said it's very expensive at around $800. Also I believe the cost to replace body/roll cage is gonna be around $200 so just don't break anything or burn up the stock 150A & you'll be absolutely fine 🤞🏽😄❤
Did you watch Rich Duperbash or RC dude 81? Both of those guys are going huge and back flipping it. Thomas TP parts extreme will send it 60 to 80 feet off a cliff!
I did. This $800 RC was given to them for FREE. Also, Rich even says in his video that it's not meant for big jumps and stunts. He even modified it's gearing and fluids for the video.
The body is good looking but relatively heavy. If one likes only driving fast on smooth grounds it could be a good idea to switch it for a light weight body for even better performance. I guess with a little modification you can make the (f.e.) Mojave body fit, which is a lot lighter. Offroad the additional weight probably comes handy. What are your thoughts?
Yo me this looks like their standard 6s line but with adapted parts just like the truggified typhon. Same crap different wrapper. But im a traxxas fan tho. On a side not those tires are millitary honeycomb run flats that they use in certain humvees
I'm surprised it doest roll over as much like the maxx did before the wide body kit. Because the fire team looks about the same width at the traxxas maxxx. But for 6s vehicle it should easily be able to backflip with ease if the maxx xan backflip effortless only on 4s
What about doing a video, or users commenting, about the benefits & drawbacks of the Fireteam in comparison to the Maxx v2. Ownership, what to expect from both vehicles, where to race, area needed, how they thrive, any durability issues, differences to expect in performance according to eaches battery options. And for GOODNESS SAKE, which one to buy if can only choose one. Never owned RC, don't know which to choose for... small/medium yard, can travel to park, mostly running and light/med jumps.
This would have been perfect with far more durable 2mm lexan, but it's a great looking model. Oh and yeah... the handbrake is definitely a gimmick.... every single off road rc I've ever owned could be made to do a hook slide, just by using the regular brakes with a litte turn added. Great fun though.
There is nothing wrong with the Maxx V2. It's smaller and is 4s. It also doesnt have the handbrake. I would rather have the Fireteam. The Maxx is a great stunt truck though.
I really enjoy watching your videos and love how much info you give everyone. Im interested in getting this truck. Does it feel like it has the same handling as the E-Revo?
