I swear YT can’t do shit right, removing features we love then adding features that annoy tf out of people like the stupid comment section and how the X closes the entire comment section rather than close replies
EH??? I see it all the time around here. People with nice BMWs, Mercs & Audi's have no idea how to park their cars and shave a few grams off their nice alloys.
The driver would feel it as if his nervous system was connected to the wheels. Instant pain and heartache worse than straining an ankle in the middle of nowhere.
This might blow your mind. So Matt asked how much difference could the extra 2 mph from 60 to 62 possibly make. Since kinetic energy is proportional to velocity *squared*, the last 2 mph here require the same amount of energy as the first ~15.6 mph! And that's under ideal conditions without friction and air resistance, which both increase at higher speeds, so this value could be much higher. I don't think enough people know this. I don't usually ask for likes, but please like this so Matt can see it. For anyone interested in the math: √(62²-60²) = 15.62
@UCB7pPupvQDbZpxgkYW14W4Q Thing is the 1/2 cancels out. If we arbitrarily call the speeds v1, v2 and v3, the equation we get is (1/2)(m)(v3)² = (1/2)(m)(v2)² - (1/2)(m)(v1)². (1/2)(m) cancels out from both sides, so essentially that whole thing is the constant of proportionality, not just m.
@@jayneryan6395 Because of math (and science in general) humanity is at the point that it is. We wouldn't have cars like this for example if not for people who avoided the instant stuff. Mate.
@@lowrider69yearsago58 For majority of drivers, yes. But the electronics in let's say Merc or BMW can easily deal with oversteer, whereas you can do nothing with Audi understeer because it's caused by placement of the engine and gearbox.
@@carwow wasn't chastising, or course. Just a little fun. Keep up the great work. Btw, do you plan on doing a more affordable 7 seater comparison: be caddy 2020, touran, opel zafira life etc.? I don't want a SUV tbh.
@@finleypdoherty Why don't you buy what you want and mind you business about what others want to buy? It has sweet fook all to do with you and other busy bodies what car I or anyone else wants to buy. I'd buy a X3 DIESEL to replace my ageing 320D Touring if I could afford and it and your opinion means nothing to me.
He'd certainly be better than anyone else. The thing is though, here he can do proper car reviews and we can watch them whenever we like. On Top Gear, he'd have to do pointless features/road trips etc. No thanks.
@@standandeliver8376 And he's pretty much his own boss here, in Top Gear he'd be under someone else and following their script, wouldn't be natural at all
Bring back fifth gear? Vicky Butler, Jason Plato, May Watson, the dinosaur Tiff Needell. Wise reviews without the wannabe grand tour style shill of a show that top gear became.
Love it “Quattro grip” he says Next corner he understeers and misses the apex Quattro doesn’t give you extra cornering grip It gives you extra grip when accelerating
That's even with improved understeer from older ones, used to be because the engine was further forward than the front axle, I've got an s3 like that and it's a pain to corner fast
@@olivercarter5546 well, in longitudinal engine layout audis the engine is still entirely in front of the front axle. Front diff is still in the gearbox housing, so the entire engine and a part of gearbox have to be in front of the front axle.
Yes a 4 wheel drive system (in this case quattro) does help in corner exiting traction because if the car understeers it can send power to the real wheels to compensate for the understeer and vice versa if the car oversteers
I quite like em, what i thought about the non RS model is that it looks way smaller then it is, i always see an A3 coming and few seconds later i realised that it was an A4 😄
"It'll be fine in Germany, where the roads are smooth" As a German I can say most roads are far worse than you'd ever imagine. You'd be disappointed by the general road conditions and especially the amount of construction sites on the Autobahn.
Been stationed here for 1.5 years. German roads are shit in so many areas. The Autobahn has regulated speeds in SO MANY spots, and they LOVE putting cameras in areas where it moves from 130 kph to 70 kph. I've gotten more tickets in Germany in under 2 years than I got in the US in 20. Everyone here told me no matter how you drive you'll get a ticket, and boy were they right.
A5 zwischen Heidelberg und Frankfurt ist katastrophal... obwohl vor kurzem alles erneuert wurde. Ist aber auch verständlich bei den vielen überladenen osteuropäischen LKWs
God, I haven't been following with this channel lately but I absolutely loved the way they used to tell about passenger seating with three people rating their respective seat's space and comfort. I love this channel but you have to bring that back!!!
Worker - Audi have launched their new RS4 Akrapovič - What does it sound like? Worker - Pretty crap... Akrapovič (Rubbing his hands together.) - Good... Kerrrrrrrrchingggg... :-))... EDIT But why do Audi persist with their "stuck onto the dashboard" tablet? Still looks cheap and pretty crap if you compare it to Mercedes and BMW :-((...
All engine are not the same!!! Audi announces 450hp and 600nm but they have a legal error margin. So 2 Audi RS4 can have different 0-60mph with a same engine. Maybe you should try them on a power bench to get an better idea.
Audi new styling language is garbage. The method of tacking on as many plastic faux vents is terrible. A step backwards. Also Audi's only fun car is the rwd R8. The rest of its cars are just fast, nothing more.
I dont care about others, but I think that this car is gorgeous, looks agressive enough,is seriously fast, comfortable whenever you want it to and practical. So why complaining??I Dont Know
I got this vibe that either the editor and cameraman has been replaced or they did something different with the video color temperature it’s a bit different
It would make sense that the PPF would make it slower, I don’t believe it would be as free flowing as the exhaust pre facelift plus the small amount of added weight because of it combined might make that 0.1 second difference however different variables such as amounts of fuel may be the reason as it’s such a small amount of time.
you should use specialist timing gear instead of built in timer cause all car speedos always read more than you are really going also its made by VAG group and they are just liars in general
Personally think the older one looks more aggressive and nicer. + it’s faster! And regarding the limiter, please can you test this? Because my 8V S3 hit 164 😂
Only Rs Models you buy are : 2013-2015 RS5, 2017-2018 RS3 2016-2018 RS7 2016-2018 R8 V10+ Any other year or model is worthless, sounds like shit, or is now slower.
I think the old rs4 looks waaayy better especially in that grey colour...the details were also very good...this one lost that angry muscular looks eventhough there is muscular details
