Just FYI: My doctor told me that the #1 reason that babies get flat heads is when they're allowed to sleep/sit/live in their carseats all the time (i.e. days like a car ride to lunch, then a car ride to the mall to go shopping, then they just sort of get left in there because it keeps them comfortable and sleeping, etc. - so they end up spending 8-10 hours in a row in the carseat). Ensuring they don't stay in one position all the time is the best way to ensure their heads form properly. (If babies got flat heads just from sleeping on their backs, all humans in history would have had flat heads.)

Omg Dina the wipe Warmers will be a life saver the room temperature too - I have both best purchases ever - my Eesa still hates bath time - I don’t think that will ever change until he’s a little older but Alhumdullilah he’s 4months soon - so excited for your new bundle of Joy Hans is going to be adorable as a big sis - you can just see it. Salaam Dina! place the baby pillow under the fitted crib sheet ( Place it on the mattress where you will lay babies head and put the fitted sheet over it). That way it’s less likely to move or be a hazard for baby and you can sleep a little better. That’s what I did as I never felt comfortable with it sitting loose under my lil ones head xxx

Life is just so much easier with number 2!! Some super, useful things and less of the crazy bits all us first time Mum's bought. Love, love, love the back packs! The changing mat and bath insert are definitely upgrades from the regular ones and will be so much better to use and comfy for a new born with delicate skin. The blanket with feet looked awesome and so easy to make yourself in other cute fleece designs. You're looking fantastic Dina, really glowing! When you talked about your dizziness it reminded me that the only time l get it is when I'm low in iron. I'm sure it would be picked up when you have bloods done during pregnancy, but if the dizziness hangs around maybe just mention it to Midwife! 💗💗💗

That bit about the poo 💩😂😂. Note to Sid: put poo in an odour control bag 😂. (Imagine opening the bin and seeing a poo gazing back at you). Lmao

You can buy a bath from Mothercare that comes with a bucket along with a card which has a thermometer its really useful and doesn't take up any space

Dear Dina, for the nose-thing I used saltwater- soft- vial. I've got them in the Pharmacy and you just put them on one hole of the babys nose and push fast and hard (the ampule, not the nose!!) and it runs out the other nosehole by itself. My boy never really minded and it helped sooooo well. greets

Dina, regarding your pillow, put it UNDER the cot bed sheet. Then you know it won’t end up on the baby’s face. Anyway obviously still check the baby regularly. I spent thousands when I had my baby, bought rubbish. Best thing I ever got was the Angelcare video and breathing monitor. Xx

Damn, You don’t realise how much stuff babies/kids need, they’re so small and yet need tons of stuff 😂

We used a wipe warmer all the time because we used cloth wipes instead of disposable ones. My kids were so sensitive that all disposable wipes irritated them, even the super natural fragrance free ones.

The flat head problem is sooo relatable! My mom was told to shape my head flat cause apparently back home it's better to shape your kid's head flat and I hate my flat head lol good thing you're thinking against that 👏🏽

Dina, buy an owlet sock. Its a little sock like band that goes around their ankle and you link it to your phone and it will alert you straight away if there is an issue with heart rate/breathing etc. Hope that helps :) and congratulations xx

My mom would always make us put the baby wipes in warm water before using them n my niece.....the waiting for the tap water to warm up before changing a crying baby was horrible so I am all here for that baby wipes warmer:)

Hi Dina, you look great! Pregnancy really agrees with you. As a mom of two, I'm really concerned about the head shaping pillows. They may tilt baby's head forward in a way that could be dangerous. With my children, I slept them on their backs, and then when awake I would hold them with my hands cupping their heads to reverse any flattening. They both have lovely domes now! 😊

Love the look of some of these! I’d just check the blanket thing to make sure it’s safe to use in the carseat. I know some layering things (coats etc) aren’t supposed to be worn in car seats because it makes them unsafe if they ho under the straps

In America all our car seats already come with the clip for the straps on the car seat I always think it's weird when I watch bloggers from other country's having to buy the clip separate or just not having one on the car seat at all in just like no not safe lol

Worse way to shop is keeping in mind your first born . Even if you had a easy baby, it's your first so it would be a struggle and super stressful as you've gone from none to one . But when you have your second, you are so much more experienced and more mentally prepared plus don't have that much time to fluff about as you have another child to look after. Also DINA you had a winter baby first ,you are comparing two different season babies 🤔. Baby moov is amazing much more safer and really worked . Highly recommend a sleepyhead. Got it for my 3rd it was a game changer and then with my 4th worked a treat mA

Definitely try the baby bottle water dispenser for when you maybe stop breastfeeding. It helps with dispensing the perfect temperature water for any size bottle. Some even have a little compartment for formula and makes a bottle for you. Saves a lot of time

Tbh for the baby wipes thing I just dip the wipes in warm (not hot!!!) Water before using them especially during night etc.
