Quick question. Does the "protection pack" mean that the shoe is more useful in tougher weather conditions such as rain?

Not the 2002rs for sure. Make sure your jeans are clean and you don’t get them wet. The suede on those run, hard shoe to clean overall but they are beautiful on feet.
