Dope video man. I'm seriously considering selling a few of my Nike shoes and buying some NB. I have to be honest with myself. I'm older now and comfort with a dash of style is all I need.
If you’re able to afford paying resale or premium prices for Nike/Nike SB/Jordan brand then you’ll definitely be able to justify Made in USA and Made in U.K. New Balance sneakers. Highly suggested. Premium materials, support, comfort, and tons of interesting colorways + collabs. Plus, if they’re your style then it’s a wrap.
@@guynkicks They’re becoming harder based on collabs alone, but GRs are still at or below retail. How do you feel about brands like ASICS and Saucony? I want to try the Gel Lyte 3 out, but have heard mixed reviews on the fit and feel.
@ianturnbow7011 Fit is tricky with the gel lyte 3. But there are a ton of dope CW. I prefer the lyte V. ASICS is great but don’t expect premium materials on most GRs.
I’ve been looking at the V2s for a minute. I was originally going to cop them in grey. But, I might have to rethink that and grab these in navy. Dope review.

You broke my heart a little when you bagged on the Black ones...those just came in for me yesterday. 🤣 I dig them, and I went with a 9, which is what I usually go with in NB even though my tts is a 9.5. They fit alright but now I’m kinda wondering how the 9.5 would’ve fit 🤔 and if I should’ve ordered tts on my other 99x series... 🧐 You’re right about getting hooked on this silhouette, it’s so nice. I want more 😅 Also, have you heard of Karhu? What’s your opinion on their stuff? Keep it up carnal, dig your stuff!

Hey I also just ordered a pair of v2s and went half a size down (normally 10 picked up 9.5). Now I'm kinda second guessing as well. Could you elaborate on the fitment. I have normal width feet. I also have V5s but went half a size down and they fit great.
Do the v5s feel snug or do you still have some room? If you do, I think you’ll be fine. If you have a wide foot, then these are more narrower than the v5.

Hey bro, another good vid 👍, I just recieved the NB 990v2 (The V series) and my fit is really long. Do you also have that problem? Im a true size 10 slightly on the wider side... so i normally get a 9 2E (wide) for my 990v5 and 993 and they fit perfect or i'll get a 9.5 if the wide is not available. But for the 990v2 I got a 10 and the fit is really long. I went with the 10 because most youtuber say stick to true to size because of the narrow toebox so i went with the 10 not know how long it was. I think the 9.5 would be better for me. Hoping you didn't have the same issue as me. What do you think bro?
@PhamDynasty300 Yeah I would've recommended to go with a 9.5. A full size up from your 990v5 is too big. Sucks to hear that bro. But yes they do run longer.
@@guynkicks well the 9.5 for 990v5 & 993 fits me well but a bit snug with the widths measurement. The 9 wide fits perfect but a bit short. Also got the 2002R in size 10 and that fits great. Idk bro, my feet are kinda strange when it comes to sizing. But in most Nike I'm a true 10 or maybe a 10.5 depending on the shoes.
@PhamDynasty300 Sucks bro. The only Made in USA that I have that fits great in a 10, similar to my Nike/adidas sneakers, is the 990v2. All my other Made in USA I have to go with a 9.5.

@@guynkicks that’s so funny because I did have the 990v3 back in the day & I’ve just ordered the 990v5. I’ve always liked the 990 series, really great for all day walking, really cushioned from the concrete.
