Great head to head. The More v3 is a great shoe for me, love the cushion and the overall fit, nothing comes close from another brand for me. I really appreciate you covering the walking aspect and the new carved out bottom of the heal. This could be a step back for me, I really like the full coverage that the v3 has. Hoka has never fit me well as even their wide is not really wide. Wondering your thoughts of the More v4 compared to the Bondi 8. Thanks for your work and for you thoughts.

You described the very problem I had with the SuperComp Trainer. I am a heavy heel striker and I felt my heel push deep into the rear of the shoe. I did not feel the roll forward. After running 20 miles in the SuperComp, my hips started to hurt. I gave it up. I did not like the groove or split cut into the rear of the SuperComp Trainer. My guess, I would like it less in this shoe because it does not have the fuelcell. It is a shame they didn't fill in the heel midsole. looks like a good update other than that. I think if New Balance just "closed" the split in the rear like the Asics Glidride, it would help. Because of my running style, I will need to pass on this shoe.

After enjoying the V3. I was sold at 23% more foam.

Thank you for covering the walking characteristics, most other reviewers seem to think that 100% of the people buying theses shoes are runners. I don’t run but really want this shoe to work for a couple of miles of daily walking. Will make a decision between this shoe or the 1080v12. Do you have a preference between the two?

I ordered the v4 xwide (my normal size) but it was waaaaaay too roomy. Cushioning is great for max cushion but I returned it knowing they were too loose for my knees. I found the v3 on sale in a wide and got it. Its been my daily trainer for 2 weeks. The cushioning in the v4 IS better than the v3. When the v4 goes on sale I will not hesitate to order it in a size wide instead of extra wide.

How were you able to get them already? Are they already released? I need some all black ones!

Ryan, is this shoe stable enough for an over pronation? I wear Arahis and wanted to try a new shoe. The More and the Saucony Tempus are my two choices.

Im using the NB 1080v12. If i will be using it mainly for walking, is the More v4 much better? I want a really comfortable/soft shoe that would protect my knees. Also, if im size 12 wide (2E) on the 1080v12, should i get the same size for the more v4? Thanks.

Great review, but I will disagree on heel drop height. The greater the drop height, the more likely you'll hit your heel. With only a 4mm drop, you will hit your heel much less on this show compared with a 10mm drop height. Think of women's' high heels. They always hit the rear heel first because it's a substantial drop difference. Yes, ridiculous comparison, but it's exaggerated to make my point. Keep up the great reviews.

I may lean more towards the 880/1080 instead of my current setup of 1080/More. I find that the 1080 has all of the cushioning that I need and sometimes would prefer even less. I also prefer a larger drop. How does the sizing feel on how wide the toebox is, how high and wide the midfoot are?

I have very flat feet and a wider than normal foot through the mid-foot because of that (the inside edge of the Vaporfly 2% was literally cutting into the middle of my "arch"). Is the More V4 or the SC Trainer better suited for flat-foot folks like myself who have a mild over-pronation issue? I don't have any heel-strike at all. I use the Rebel V3 right now and love the FuelCell foam, but after 5-6 miles my feet just want more comfort.

I have moderately wide feet and slight stability needs and am wearing Hoka Arahi 5 with a semi-rigid orthotic in it at the moment. Will much stability would the More V4 provide and would it be suitable to have an orthotic in it?

What size do you wear for v3 & v4 please? I wear 10.5 for v3 & I have plenty of room. I feel that I could go down half a size for the v3...

I have the 1080V12 and being wide and long I went half a size down. The previous 1080V10 was TTS.. Is the V4 wide like the 1080V12… long like 1080V12?

Does it have high arch likeV3? I had issues with my left arch on More V3

So they dropped the price by $15 in the same year that they made the 1080 the most overpriced daily trainer on the market? 🤔 Doesn’t make sense but I’ll take it… I enjoyed v3 and now that I hear the price of v4, I will definitely be picking up a pair!

I have the foot exactly 27,5 cm long, and the foot is normal width, a little thin , that with the asics I go with the 45 European, which is 28,5 cm. I am looking at all the places and each one says something different. With this sneaker the more v4, which number do I have to catch? The 44 which is equivalent to 28 cm, or the 44.5 which is equivalent to 28.5 cm to go well? If you can help me I would be very grateful because I’m eating my head. thank you very much. No gusset = deal breaker. Have to deal with the tongue migrating to the side of foot which feels and looks like trash.

I told people last year NB has a HIT w/ the More 3, and they'll jack around and ruin it. NOBODY was asking for that funky space on the sole rear. Things like that. Just make the sole compound harder. Seems to me they've jacked around alot, and it's not necessarily better, and may be worse.

Any Hoka users transition into this shoe and if so do you like it?

I was excited to get these shoes as soon as possible but after 5 kms feeling dead tired.Too wide , too cushioney, too boorind and discouraging , never ever max cushioning shoes for me,first and last.It could easily injure your kness and hips. I am a new runner before i was running on my 10 years old reebok realflex which i was never getting tired when i was coming home iwanted to train like a bulldog, but today i am dead. My knees feel injured. Hope it is my own personal case , make your own judgement. For walking, never unless you have a bad injury on your hip, leg or knee and u must have a max cushioning shoe. I didn't enjoy these shoes at all.

If you had to choose between the invincible and the more v4 for long mileage recovery shoe which would you choose?

Just buy some moon boots.
